Thank you Harper Perennial and NetGalley for the eARC of The Woman on the Ledge! All opinions in this review are my own.
While I was initially a bit disappointed that this book isn't told using the second person perspective (since the blurb is written like it is), I quickly got over that and became engrossed in the story. I love that each part unraveled a little bit more of the story so you're left with not quite being sure who is lying and who is telling the truth.
Was it a little over the top? Absolutely. Does it matter because it is fiction? No, it does not.
Mancini demonstrates her talent in The Woman ln the Ledge and I can't wait to read another thriller by her!

Thank you Harper Perennial and NetGalley for the eARC of In A Not So Perfect World! All opinions in this review are my own.
I loved Love Buzz so I had high hopes for In A Not So Perfect World and it delivered! I loved Sloane and Charlie's interactions and how they navigated being on vacation with a virtual stranger. There is a nice balance of funny and spicy. I can't say enough good things about Neely Tubati Alexander's writing and I can't wait to read more from her!
Thank you Libro FM, Bloomsbury Publishing, and NetGalley for the ALC of Not Like Other Girls! All opinions in this review are my own.
This was a strong debut that is about so much more than a classmate going missing. While it did seem to lose the original storyline a bit in the middle, all of the loose ends get tied up by the conclusion. If you listen/read the author's note at the end, it explains how Adamo was able to make her characters so realistic and I give her so much credit for being able to write this story.
The audiobook narrator was an excellent choice! I haven't listened to a book narrated by Georgina Sadler before, but I really liked the voices she did for each character. Each character was able to sound different without sounding fake.
Overall, this was a great debut from Adamo and I can't wait to read more from her!
Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Never Blow a Kiss! All opinions in this review are my own.
Never Blow a Kiss is a fantastic start to a new series by Lindsay Lovise! I loved Emily and Zach's relationship, but I wish it had been more balanced with his case and her spy activities. However, the end was so good that it made up for this. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!
Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the eARC of Finlay Donovan Rolls The Dice! All opinions in this review are my own.
With every new Finlay Donovan book, I can't believe Cosimano is able to top Finlay and Vero's antics from the previous one! I look forward to each new book in the series and this one did not disappoint!
Finlay, Vero, and the whole gang head to Atlantic City and book four picks up right where the previous one did. Finlay Donovan Rolls The Dice is full of the humor and shenanigans that one can expect from this series! Also in true Finlay Donovan fashion, this one leaves you immediately wanting the next!
Thank you St. Martin's Press and NetGalley for the eARC of Summers at the Saint! All opinions in this review are my own.
I got to 31% in this summer read, but unfortunately it's not for me. While I did like the setting and was intrigued by the mystery, many of the characters were unlikable (on purpose) and I couldn't spend more time reading about them.
Thank you Heartdrum and NetGalley for the eARC of Looking for Smoke! All opinions in this review are my own.
For me, I find that it is truly difficult to write a five star thriller, but K. A. Cobell did it on her debut. In this Own Voices novel, Looking for Smoke details the story of the classmates left behind after two of their own go missing and their determination to find answers. Cobell brings the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement to the forefront, and shows the pain of the families and friends left behind. As a member of the Blackfeet Nation herself, Cobell is able to write characters the readers care about it, which I don't often find as the case in thrillers. I couldn't put this book down!
Looking for Smoke is a fantastic debut and I can't wait to see what else Cobell is capable of!
