Thank you Sourcebooks Landmark and NetGalley for the eARC of Zero Stars, Do Not Recommend!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Between the cover and the synopsis, this book grabbed my attention and I couldn't wait to read it!  Dan is on a tropical vacation with his girlfriend when the sun melts.  Now he must survive and try to get off the island or wallow while it descends into chaos.

This book is just as funny and wild as it sounds.  I had so much fun reading it and I really enjoyed the ending!

Thank you Penguin Random House Audio and Libro FM for the ALC of Everything We Never Had!  All opinions in this review are my own.

This is a powerful story about family and communication.  I loved how the timelines were interwoven so that you could see the effects of certain events on the characters later in life.  It has an important message of you don't know everything the previous generation went through until you talk about it or try to understand them more.

Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the eARC of Sleep in Heavenly Pizza!  All opinions in this review are my own.

Sleep in Heavenly Pizza is another solid addition to the Deep Dish Mysteries!  The best part of the fourth book in the series, besides Butterball the cat of course, is the twist in this mystery!  There are so many valid suspects in this one that the truth is shocking!

Overall, if you are looking for a cozy mystery this holiday season, check out Sleep in Heavenly Pizza!
funny lighthearted fast-paced

Thank you Amazon Publishing and NetGalley for the eARC of The Answer is No!  All opinions in this review are my own.

The Beartown series by Fredrik Backman is one of my favorites so I was excited to read a shorter (and lighter) story by him.  Backman is able to expertly describe the human condition in a way that many people can relate to.  In The Answer No, it is trying to ignore you neighbors so that you can get back to what you want to do.

All Lucas wants to do is play his new video game but because one of his neighbors left a frying pan in the recycling room, he gets roped into finding the culprit by members of the HOA.  The story gets more and more ridiculous as the time goes on until finally Lucas actually steps in.

Overall, this was a light and fun read by a fantastic author.

Thank you Minotaur and NetGalley for the eARC of One Final Turn!  All opinions in this review are my own.

It is bittersweet to read the final chapter in the Electra McDonnell series but I am happy to say that it is a satisfying ending that ties up all the loose ends.

The fifth book in the series finds Electra in Lisbon following a lead for her missing cousin.  I don't want to reveal anymore especially if you haven't read the rest of the series, but Electra does get into some very interesting predicaments in Lisbon.

Overall, this series is one of my favorites and the final book did not disappoint.  I highly recommend it if you like historical mysteries filled with spies, secrets, and a bit of romance!

Thank you Bantam and NetGalley for the eARC of Ladykiller!  All opinions in this review are my own.

I always look forward to a new Katherine Wood novel and Ladykiller did not disappoint!  This thriller is full of twists and turns so you never know what to expect next.  My only complaint is that the synopsis gives a little too much away.  It's not surprising that the two storylines eventually connect, but I was waiting for the event that is mentioned so it felt like it took a long time for them to do so.  Overall, this is an excellent, twisty thriller that you are never sure who you can trust!
