Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of The Next Best Fling! All opinions in this review are my own.
This debut novel from Gabriella Gamez shows that she is just setting up for a fantastic series!
When Marcela learns that her best friend (who she has been in love with for years) is finally proposing to his long-time girlfriend, she knows it is officially time to start getting over him. However, when she finds his brother practicing a speech confessing his love for the soon-to-be-bride, Marcela hatches a plan to help both of them get over their unrequited loves. Eventually, Marcela and Theo can't resist anymore and give in to their fake dating story, but they each have to trust that the other is over their first love.
Not only is Theo a swoonworthy lead, but Marcela's home library is one I aspire to have. My two favorite things about this book are how Theo helps Marcela feel more confident and how Marcela describes her love for books.
I already can't wait for the next Librarians in Love book!

Thank you to the author for the eARC of Diffuse! All opinions in this review are my own.
I loved Reserved but Diffuse takes it to another level. I think because this is part two of Nevaeh and Adrian's story, I am already invested in their romance. Although I liked seeing them get together at first, I like reading about how their relationship deepens over time as they also deal with their individual problems as well.
I also love that there is no shortage of on-track action too! There are a few moments that ground this as not just a romance, but an F1 novel and fans of the sport will be rewarded. However, I like that this series doesn't structure the plot around the F1 calendar. While the races are featured, there is quite a bit that happens outside of the world of F1 for readers who are new to the sport.
Thank you Grand Central Publishing for the gifted copy of Mummy Darlings! All opinions in this review are my own.
I enjoyed getting to know the Guinness Girls in the first book of the series. For some reason, I thought Mummy Darlings is the sequel and didn't realize I skipped two books until I was already too far into it.
That being said, since I read the first book, I knew enough about the character to pick up the story in Mummy Darlings. I enjoyed this catch up with the sisters, but I did miss some of the youthfulness of the first book. I am curious to go back and read the second and third book now!

Thank you Forever and NetGalley for the eARC of Not Another Love Song! All opinions in this review are my own.
I have been recommending this book to everyone I can! I was lucky enough to see Julie Soto at a Forever panel last fall and it is unsurprising that her charming personality transfers to the page.
I don't know much about instruments and orchestras, but this romance between two musical prodigies was fantastic! Gwen is a violinist who plays for a pop orchestra and Xander is a rock star cellist. The tension between them is so good and Soto makes this musical world accessible. I love how although their romance is the main storyline, both characters are complex and deal with their own struggles throughout the book.
After only one book, I am now a Julie Soto fan for life and can't wait to read Forget Me Not!
Thank you BiblioLifestyle and Harper Perennial for the gifted copy of Shell Games! All opinions in this review are my own.
If you are looking for a quick thriller that will constantly keep you guessing, then you should read Shell Games! The author's note at the end explains how she got the idea from a real event and is fascinating how that became the story for Shell Games. I like how throughout the thriller you are never quite sure who to believe.
Thank you Sourcebooks Landmark and NetGalley for the eARC of The Estate. All opinions in this review are my own.
I wanted to love this one because of its historic chateau setting and the ability of the main character to go into the artwork, but unfortunately it wasn't for me. It is such a shame because I loved Five First Chances by the same author. I never felt fully invested in this one.
Thank you William Morrow and BiblioLifestyle for the gifted copy of The Paris Gown. All opinions in this review are my own.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this one. It sounded great, three friends reunited by a Dior gown, and it was blurbed by one of my favorite authors, Natasha Lester, but I felt like it lacked dimension. I love historical fiction for the details, especially one focused on fashion, but most of this book is dialogue.
