I can tell Stephen King's son wrote this and that's not a compliment.

just boring and i hate all these characters and i think the plot is nonsensical and the back and forth between fake reddit and these fake websites was distracting and annoying. much love.

God this sucks. This is supposed to be an adult fantasy novel? Why does this read like any other YA fantasy slop I've picked up within the last two years. I keep trying to give these romantasy books a chance and they remind me again and again why I'm not all that into them. The writing is okay, some parts are really engaging, but ultimately not much happens for me to stay engaged. It's a shame because this started out fairly strong and caught my attention but I cannotttttt keep going with this.
