the fact their relationship took time to evolve was refreshing. their feelings and story felt so real. two cinnamon rolls who found each other.

this book had so many rollercoasters. so many plot twists too. i love me a gray, morally questionable mmc; and alex volkov was exactly that. his groveling in the book? ugh *chefs kiss*
Darkness craves light as much as it wants to destroy it,
i also enjoyed how ava didn’t forgive him quickly and he had to earn her love and trust back. it was heartbreakingly beautiful reading the story.

sammy and olivia's story was a rollercoaster, especially with their complicated 8+ year relationship mentioned throughout the first 3 books.
Love. Such a simple concept that humans liked to twist and complicate with their fears and insecurities, but eventually, everyone had to make a choice—let the doubt consume them, or let love carry them through.
this was a beautiful ending to the 4-book series with a cliché (not a bad thing), yet adorable happily ever after.

i had preconceived notions of kris from the first two books, e.g. spoiled rich girl with no personality/morals, but she is so much than that. this book showed how flawed, smart, caring, and funny she is. nate too. he is caring, loving, humble, selfless, and hard-working. they are perfect together. and their chemistry? on a whole other level. omg.

reading in 3rd person pov is new for me and i don't really like it if i'm being honest. BUT! the story overall was captivating with so many unique characters and turn of events. however, that's also disconcerting because this felt more of a book about the friend group than the two mcs.
Farrah had always equated the stars with love, which seemed as nebulous and out of reach as the diamonds in the sky. But as she stood there next to Blake, beneath the infinite skies of a foreign land, the stars felt a little closer.
tldr: it's a rollercoaster with a not cliffhanger cliffhanger at the end???

the last book of the duet in the If Love series. and gotta say, overall, farrah and blake's story was such a rollercoaster.

while reading, my heart ached for how much they suffered in their time apart but was so full when they reconciled. only complaint is that the story felt too rushed.
