rhys and bridget's story truly made me so happy. their banter, their struggles, watching the years pass them and they didn't even touch other but their feelings were there.

We weren’t a fairy tale. We were a forbidden love letter, tucked into the back of a drawer and retrieved only in the darkness of night. We were the chapter of bliss before the climax hit and everything crumbled into ash. We were a story that was always meant to end.

the fact their relationship took time to evolve was refreshing. their feelings and story felt so real. two cinnamon rolls who found each other.
