I love a historical thing told in the form of a story. Loved the depictions and getting a feel for Turing’s personality. However, I was really confused by the different characters who I guess were being interviewed. Maybe it’s because I read this while sick, but I got lost with so many different narrators.

Very cute and quite fluffy. I liked how this story was a different setup than usual. Instead of a lot of buildup, the characters already knew and liked each other. 

There were quite a few typos that made me reread a sentence a few times before understanding. I don’t mind much given that the book is self published. I often wonder if authors want to be told about typos. Then, I think about how frustrating it would be to get a list of them to fix. Then, I imagine what they’re missing out on because of a few typos.

Multigenerational  

I wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. I love so much about it. I think this may be a book I actually reread. So much love and caring went into these characters and the writing of the book.

The author did a wonder job showcasing communication, accommodation, and consent. They did so well with showcasing many autistic traits and communication that I’ve learned about myself. I’m thrilled to have read examples I can try to use for setting expectations and boundaries as well as communicating wants and needs.

This felt like the warm hug I needed as a queer disabled autistic non binary person. Thank you Xan for writing this and I hope to read more of your work.
