Not without it’s faults, but this book and line of thinking has been enlightening. It’s interesting because this is something I’ve thought about a lot in the past few years. I enjoyed learning more
I love having a new way to reframe things I’ve always known but had never heard put into the right words to have the right impact.

A friend recommend reading this author’s work. I took her word for it and read O Ovo. It was bizarre but still, I enjoyed it a lot. Of no fault of the author, this book isn’t doing it for me. It’s just not my typical choice of story. I think I blanked after reading “warrior”. It’s especially hard on a topic I’m not loving because I’m still learning Português
Phenomenal book that I think I’ll be mentally processing for the next several days/weeks/etc. I hadn’t realized how intertwined all of these issues are. Some I didn’t realize were connected at all. Though, I’m super embarrassed to admit that.
Honestly, I almost closed the book whe. It started off with the Joe Rogan podcast. I would never had guessed how that was going to play out

Very cute, loved it. A techy twist. I love how everyone of the main and side characters has a full personality.

This is one of the more bizarre things I’ve read. Not in a bad way either. I’ve been learning pt-br because a friend speaks it and they suggested this author. I believe the author is a friend of my friend, but I don’t remember exactly. It took me the better part of 9 months to learn enough to stumble through the story and understand it. Love the queer representation. I love that it just exists and is not a big part of the storyline. It just feels like something that should be normal. <3 <3

I feel like I say this often, but this may legit be one of my new favorite books. It’s a book I wish existed when I was a teen. I’m still processing all the things but the most important takeaway would be “accomplices not allies” and to never stop checking your privilege

I loved this so much more than I expected. I definitely didn't expect the murder to not be resolved until the last 20 pages, but that's cool. The murder story was definitely more just the glue that brought the trio together.

I love all the info and details that are taught through this book though it does seem like that was the main goal. I think this would be a great book to introduce acespec to allo folks. This could have felt like a skit written by a school counselor but it didn’t. There were so many things covered and I loved how well they were handled. And on top of that there’s a cute romantic story.
I do wish there had been better distinguishing between flashbacks and current time. Flashbacks in all italics was a bit rough to read and not obvious at first thag it meant something.
