This started out really well. The darkness of witchcraft and relationship with the twin sisters, but i found it fell apart the further in it went.
Emilia and Wraths situationship didn’t make a lot of sense to me and other than describing how ll powerful and scary he was, he didnt do anything to really prove that fact. I found some of the other princes much more foreboding and felt they could have played a bigger role.
One thing that particularly annoyed me was the fact that the whole book seemed to have that white room thing. Emilia was just in a new location with no real understanding or explanation of how she got there and noone else was ever around. Its like she existed in her town by herself until she had to speak to someone and then they appeared. I found it really off putting.
The story might have been even better if the MC had been the other twin. The personalities might have made more sense against Wraths attitude.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fantasy romance!
One of the best things about fantasy for me is the romance and this book is filled with it. Mates and forbidden love across realms, was all very awesome.
The world building in this is phenomenal as well. The research and detail into the magics, realms, clans etc. are just so good! Rich with detail that all comes together and makes sense was great.
My only issue was the amount of characters and chapter lengths. There are so many characters to keep up with, especially for a first book. By the end, i was familiar with mostly everyone but earlier on, it was a little confusing.
Other than that, really enjoyed. The wolves are my fave! *swoon*

A Romeo and Juliet retelling set in 1920s Shanghai. Sounds awesome right? Not so much for me i’m afraid
This book was flooding my instagram timeline so of course i had to read it and its safe to say it is one of the better recommendations!
My favourite thing about any book is when it surprises me. If it surprises me with darker/adult content or themes against what the cover/blurb etc suggests. Then even better.
Ive discovered a new book bae in Hawke and another bad bitch in deliciously naive Poppy and its great!

After the second book i was looking forward to seeing how Grey was going to grow into his role as a prince and while he continued being the Grey, we all know and love, there was no real urgency to the tale. It was surprisingly short for a final book in a trilogy, low on the smut which was standard and the villain still doesnt make that much sense to me. Grey and now. Lia Mara carried the book as they were the most interesting but it wasnt great by any means. Its very Happy Ever After which is fine considering what its based on but it just found it a bit lacklustre.
