Elsie Silver can do no wrong. I have loved every book in this series and this is no exception. I just love the way she writes, and she is a must buy author for me. With that being said, I wasn't sure how I would feel about the secret baby/accidental pregnancy trope, because it's just not my favorite so I was a little nervous about this book. It blew me away! I was so impressed with this book. I think Elsie Silver did this trope so well, and I just loved everything about Winter, Theo and ViVi. I was upset about that initial miscommunication between Winter and Theo, but everything worked out so beautifully in the end and it was an amazing love story. I seriously cannot WAIT for Beau's book!
I'm giving this two stars for the smut, but what was the point of this? I rated Royally Not Ready five stars and it was one of my favorite reads of 2022, but it should have been left as is and definitely did not need a sequel. I'd say skip this one.
I really loved this book and it was a much better book than the previous one in the series, Secretly Yours. The marriage of convenience trope was done so well in this book, and I loved the relationship between August and Natalie. August is that ideal book boyfriend who would literally move mountains for her. I loved their enemies to lovers beginning and it made for such a sweet relationship when they finally did get together. There's something about Natalie and August both being these broken people who just want to prove themselves and be loved, and how they come together to help each other and end up making each other better, while also falling in love. The banter was top tier and the amount of times that August said "my wife" just had me swooning. Tessa Bailey also includes her signature spice too.
In this sequel, we follow all our previous couples: Ash and Colt, Theo and Blake, Mack and Kate, and we also get more of Mia’s story that sets the scene for Don’t Let Me Down just like all of the previous books in this standalone series have done. I will say when I first read the chapters list, I was slightly intimidated by the amount of perspectives we would be reading through but, yet again, Kelsie Rae pulled this off so effortlessly. It was a seamless transition between characters without a gap between perspectives and I loved that we got to see where everyone is at and a continuation of their stories. It felt like one long epilogue for the previous books and I thought this was amazing. Colt and Ash are faced with a huge life choice that threatens the perfect life they have created for themselves and honestly is an issue that, in this day and age, is very prevalent. I kind of thought this was weird and didn’t need to be done, but I love the way it all ended up for them. We follow Blake as she is the only remaining member of the group still left in her last year of college as everyone else has already graduated, and see how her relationship with Theo is progressing. We get to see what life is like for Mack and Kate (my favorite couple of this series) and what the future holds for them as they navigate her illness and their growing family. We learn more about Mia’s struggles after the aftermath of Shorty’s awful choice to out her real identity tied to her OnlyFans account. This seems to be another prevalent topic that many people are struggling with post pandemic as they try to return to the mainstream workforce. In the end, we get a glimpse into everyone’s future (including a little of Mia) which is the closure so many of us crave with interconnected stand-alone novels. The family trees at the end are such a fun and unique addition too! I can’t wait for Mia’s story in Don’t Let Me Down!
The second installment in this series was heartwarming and hilarious! I enjoyed Rich in Your Love as much as I enjoyed the first Tickled Pink book, maybe even more so! Tavi had some very snarky and witty conversations, and her spoiled upbringing really shined through. It was highly entertaining. Getting Tavi's story in Rich in Your Love was enlightening. Tavi Lightly led a double life. It was no easy feat but she managed... until she got stuck living in Tickled Pink. Things were quickly unravelling for her but I so admired how hard Tavi worked for what she wanted, all while pleasing her impossible grandma and keeping up her ridiculous social image. I was so happy when Tavi finally stood up for herself! I also loved her friendship and then relationship with Dylan. Dylan's complicated feelings for his married best friend was really well done, and believable wthout making you feel like he was ending up with the wrong person. I could really feel him struggling to get over her, but I loved his journey and how he found himself, with the help of Tavi. Without fail, Rich in Your Love gave me all the laughs mixed with romance and a great small town with a cast of amazing characters. The Tickled Pink stories are simply delightful. And Carter Lightly has been such a surprise, I need his story right now!
I usually like Mia Sheridan's books, but this was a big miss for me. Grayson is not a good guy and the heroine is just weak and pathetic and doesn't even fight for herself. I understand the damsel in distress vibes, but this was just gross, especially when you consider how Grayson treated her. There was so much wrong with this book, and I don't even have adequate words for how I really feel about it but I just cannot recommend this one.
I thought this was MUCH better than The Words and half the actual words... like, the book was only 300 something pages versus nearly 700. I loved that we got Josh, Memphis and Skylar's backstory and see how their love triangle came to be. They have such a tragic story between all three of them, most notably Skylar. I just cannot believe what Josh and Memphis did for her... what a wild scenario. This book made me hate Josh even more than The Words. He's an awful human being with only a few slightly nice moments, but those definitely do not cancel out how terrible he really is. I just want Memphis and Skylar to be together and happy! Also, that last line?! I cannot WAIT for The Consequence! I need it NOW.

This was kind of a toxic mess, but I really liked it? I'm sort of conflicted because I think there were things that were problematic but overall, it was a good story that sucked me in. I think the chapters where Phoenix and Lennon were young were great, but the present chapters were a bit lacking and unrealistic and just a HOT MESS. Phoenix did and said so many things that are unforgivable and I'm not sure what Lennon was thinking. Also, kudos to the author for plus size representation and the struggles that come with that, but when Lennon is older and loses weight, suddenly everyone loves her and everything is fine? I wasn't really okay with that. Also, this is an extremely long contemporary romance novel, clocking in at nearly 700 pages (which no romance novel should be) and I felt like the author was just looking at things to throw in there to fill up the plot. Sure, the smut was hot but it felt like a bad taste in the mouth when these two were such a toxic combination. That BIG thing he does to her would be off putting enough for anyone else, but for them to get a happy ending? I'm not so sure about that.

This was a beautiful love story, one filled with heartbreak, struggle, grief, and even happiness. I love the way Mia Sheridan tells a story, especially one like this. She has a way of pulling at every emotion and her stories always leave their mark. Tenleigh and Kyland grew up dirt poor and both desperately determined to escape the lives they were born into, their only beacon of hope being a college scholarship that could change their futures. But while Tenleigh dreams of not only improving her own life, but also of those closest to her, Kyland’s tragic reality is very different to hers. Having lost everything he holds dear, he plans on leaving everything behind, all the pain, all the memories, all the despair, and on never looking back, at anything or anyone, especially a green-eyed girl whose smile makes him want to be a better person. But they fall for one another, completely and irreversibly, and even though they both know their love can't last, and doomed from the beginning, they cannot help but seize the only happiness that life has ever granted them, losing themselves in each other, and for once, daring to want something just for themselves. It's such a selfless love that each of them give freely, and I just loved the twists and turns and how much people will sacrifice for those they love.
“Half agony, half hope. Half pain, half ecstasy. Half grief, half joy. Half my downfall, half my savior.”

I honestly really liked this book, as it was heartwarming and funny and really cute. I loved Beckett and Greer's relationship and Olive was just the best kid. I can totally relate to Olive because I was that kid and am now that adult. This was a really wonderful fake marriage, single dad romance with amazing side characters and a cast of characters. My only complaint is it seemed really fast and not enough, I guess. I wanted MORE, which really could be viewed as a good thing. It's also a slow burn with a significant lack of spicy scenes, but overall a great read.
