A cute story that kept me laughing.
The characters in the beginning were hard to like but as you go through the story you realize not everyone is feeling the Christmas spirit they say they are.
The story focuses on Gwen as she's stuck in a time loop, living Christmas day over and over again. Trying to figure out what she needs to do and learn to finally see tomorrow. By her 7th Christmas day, I was really feeling for her, I wouldn't have been able to survive. But her timeloop didn't end at her 7th Christmas.
The ending was so sweet, finding out who had the sixpence, and a final Christmas wish.
I throughly enjoyed the flashforward to the next Christmas, seeing how everything turned out for everyone, was the big bow on top for me.

This is the best villain origin story ever.
I found myself routing for Snow throughout the whole book, even though we know how he ends up. It was just incredible how Suzanne Collins was able to show us what turned this poor angry teen into a ruthless force that becomes President.

This book hit me hard. I listened to the audio book and loved listening to him tell his story.
Matthew Perry held no punches in this book, with his addiction, recovery, and the name dropping.
He wanted to help people and I think his candidness in this book could help people feel seen and heard.
informative fast-paced

An Eh book. Some signs felt like they had more information than others.
Book recommendations were okay but I didn't personally like any of the recommendations for my signs.

It started out pretty slow, New York was the getting to know you phase, it dragged for me. Once they went to Eldovia it picked up, and I really enjoyed it.
It felt like Christmas magic, with some help from the Fairy Godfather, at the end.

Plot or Character Driven: Plot

This book was an emotional journey. You know from the synopsis that Cassie loses her brother Tom, I kept waiting for that moment but it was still unexpected when it happened.
I enjoyed the different perspectives from Cassie and Sam. It gave a better look into both of them and how they were feeling throughout the book.
I loved how it ended, the final gift at the end of the scavenger hunt, I had hoped I read the hints right and was thrilled when I was.

The first story was wonderful, loved the characters and getting to see the parade! It was so cute. The second story was good, It was adorable and the characters likeable. Unfortunately the last story was just eh. Didn't really like the characters and it felt like it just dragged on. A very abrupt ending.
adventurous slow-paced

I wanted tolike this book more than I actually did. It was very slow and I found some parts hard to follow along too and there were several lulls that didn't feel like they were necessary.
I did enjoy how things ended. Wasn't a cheesy ending, very satisfying.

This was such a cute book. A totally innocent Holiday Romance.
It was a bit on the slower side. But it kept my attention and I laughed out loud several times.
The bickering between teddy and Lila was so cute. I really enjoyed the Tinsel and Tropes blog posts.
I struggle with books that have a emphasis on listening to your parents and try not to disappoint them. It's just so annoying.
