This isn't my favorite book of the series but it still a good book.
This book is pretty emotional, but it's riddled with many different emotions, confusion heartbreak emptiness.
The end of this book destroys me.
Once squad 451 hits the capitol the pace quickens and we lose most of the squad. Finnick has been one of my absolute favorite characters, the fact that he didn't survive to live a life with Annie wrecks me. Then losing Prim, the whole reason Katniss is even in this position, unbearable.

DID NOT FINISH: 51%

Kept hoping for this to get better but it didn't. The tone tried to act like a friend but it came off as rude and holier than thou.
I'm not convinced the author actually practices witchcraft. Alot of this is nonsense. Words strung together and hoped for the best.
Most of the 'rituals' are ridiculous.
I really think the author jumped on the Insta-witch train and decided to write this book. Very ignorant. Would not recommend.

The details in this series are wonderful. I enjoyed getting to see the other victors and the interactions between them all, mostly Finnick, I adore him. Loved hearing a bit more about Haymitch and how he won his games.

Collins creates a world that sucks you in, the detail and emotion throughout the book is phenomenal.
This is one of my favorite books, I can read it again and again and I always fall back into the story and emotions like its the fist time.
inspiring slow-paced

The recipes in this book sound pretty amazing. Intrigued by all the different ways to bake with liqueur. Loved the the variations given to alter cake to one's personal taste.
Found several new flavor combos I want to try and bake with.
fast-paced

I liked the tasty extras, definitely going to try the Marshmallow fondant.
This book had the cutest ideas, most were very simple as well. I personally would tweak some of the recipes but the presentation for them were amazing.
emotional funny fast-paced

Wonderfully written, you can tell Tom put alot of effort and heart into this book. Extremely emotional, he opened up about many different sides of his life. He was very witty, and I laughed frequently.
This was a phenomenal book and I highly recommend.
dark mysterious fast-paced

It had two dud stories for me. The rest of the stories were pretty creepy, some bordering on scary.
lighthearted slow-paced

Three cute stories. I liked how they all focused on Rose cottage being magical. Amelia Rose was in every story and I absolutely adored her by the end, I wish the cottage was real because I'd love to see it all decorated.
Besides that the stories were okay. I wasn't overly found of any other characters. Some of the love stories were a bit to quick, didn't quite make sense at times.
funny slow-paced

I read this book but I might go back and listen to the audio book, I think that would bring it to a whole new level.
This book was pretty funny, but I would've been disappointed if it wasn't. I enjoyed getting some of the behind the scenes that she did with the award shows.
