I enjoyed almost all of this book. From the very first disaster of a meeting between Bea and West to Halloween night where evening 'blew up'.. after that things deteriorated quickly.

I predicted that Juliet and Jean-Claude wouldn't last the book, there were red flags all over Jean-Claudes behavior.
Bea seeing her twin go through a similar relationship trauma to her, it makes sense that she would want to be there for her. However I don't understand how making herself be unhappy and deciding to take a break from Her and West was the right thing to do.

The ending felt so hectic. We finally meet Kate, and see a second story potentially about her and Christopher. We learn that Juliet has decided to leave and go travel. And Bea finally decides to talk to West.

While I adored the main characters, Bea and West, the other characters were pretty flat, they came and went with minimal details. Juliet and Jean-Claude being the sort of exceptions, and what little we learn of them leaves me not liking them very much.

Adorable. I loved the Rom-Com vibes this book gave.
I really enjoyed Rosie and Lucas, mostly Lucas let's not lie. Rosie's part frustrated me a bit, nothing to do with her as a character just all the extra drama. Her brother being in trouble didn't make sense to me story wise, felt like nothing was really explained and then it was all peachy at the end.?

Going with Georgia on her journey to discover herself and her identity was a beautiful, emotional, bumpy ride. I laughed, I cried, I cringed. My favorite part of this book is definitely the theme that all types of love are important, not just romantic love.
I loved the Aro-Ace representation.
dark slow-paced

This book started as a record that a friend of the Bell family started to keep track of all the events going on involving the Witch, because of that some of the language is outdated and a bit crude.
I knew a bit about the Bell Witch before I read this book, so most of this book was information I already knew. Parts of the book felt very repetitive, but it flowed like how the event took place for the most part.

Extremely slow paced. Found myself getting frustrated with how frequently the story bounced from character to character. It made it seem choppy and was hard to get the whole picture. Right as new information would come to light it would cut to a new perspective. I found myself having all these questions and very little answers.
The story started to snowball and pick up pace as you realize not one of the Gloss girls really knew anything about the others. All the secrets started coming to light and answers finally started arriving. The ending was very sad but it was satisfactory. The perspective from Cassidy's sister broke my heart, even her family knew next to nothing about her.
I enjoyed the look at the underbelly of fame that this book gave us. The emotions that were written into this book carried very well, the deep sadness and loneliness radiated whenever we were reading from Cassidy's perspective.
