Con unas amigas decidimos leerlo para hecharnos unas risas. Vamos, que es un libro spicy sobre extraterrestres gigantes y azules.
Hablando de la trama, fue decepcionante, y me molestaron algunas escenas (sobre sexo sin consentimiento), pero de todas formas nos pasamos un buen rato comentando el libro

I was too intrigued by Ali Hazelwood taking the path of fantasy, and since I've liked her other books, I decided I had to read Bride no matter what.
I thought I was going to love it, but that wasn't the case. It kept me entertained, and I read it in one sitting, but the plot didn't hook me enough, making me want to skip pages, and it felt super predictable. I stuck around just for the romance, and even the romance became exhausting in certain parts (especially because of a miscommunication problem that I couldn't stand).
So, three stars because I liked the protagonists, and I was still entertained, but I expected much more from the book.
I thought I was going to love it, but that wasn't the case. I really enjoyed the story and all the philosophical pondering about our society, the way we live, and war. However, I felt like it was missing something. I craved more emotion, a deeper connection to the characters, and a clearer sense of progression. I wanted to feel like the story was moving forward, heading somewhere, or at least a sense of closure before reaching the end of the book. Despite these shortcomings, I still quite liked the story, so I'll definitely be picking up the next book in the series.

Realmente disfruté la historia y toda la discución filosofica sobre la guerra, nuestra sociedad y la forma en que vivimos. De hecho, luego de terminar de leer el libro, me enteré que recibió fuertes criticas al respecto, pero yo opino que no es nada que haya que crucificar, no hay nada de malo en leer sobre el punto de opinion de alguien más en estos temas.
Dejando eso de lado, sentí que le faltaba algo a la historia. Necesitaba más emoción, una conexión más profunda con los personajes y definitivamente un sentido más claro de progresión.
Sin embargo, a pesar de todo esto, me gustó bastante la historia y quedé con la intriga de saber que más vivirá nuestro protagonista, así que definitivamente voy a leer el próximo libro de la serie.
