This is why I don’t trust BookTok. This book is only enjoyable if you don’t look too closely at the plot. Because the moment you start questioning the storyline or the characters’ motivations, it becomes unbearable. But even if you decide to ignore that, none of the relationships felt natural — not necessarily rushed, but definitely not believable. Even the dialogue felt forced. Like, seriously, no one talks like that. So I quickly started skipping pages (a lot of them — which is why I’m marking it as DNF, even though I technically made it to the end). 

The romance felt too rushed and the fmc, as well as the mmc, were being idiots, keeping information from each other without any good reason so the plot could develop. 

I got bored around 70% of the book. The couple was doing fine and it felt too much like an insta love. Not for me.
