This is the second book in the Braxton Campus Mysteries series and another home run! I love, love, love being in Kellan's head and seeing what shenanigans are going to go down next.

All I've gotta say is Nana D is my favorite character, hands down! She's freaking awesome, and I wish I had a funny grandmother like her! Kind of reminds me a bit of Thelma from Mama's Family, but awesomer and more hilarious! And that's hard to top!!

As with book one, Kellan faces drama and mystery! I was flying through the pages wanting to know what was going to happen with Kellan's family life and with the investigation. There was great characterization, addictive writing, and a wonderfully developed mystery! By the time I got to the last page, I was like nooooooooo! I have to know what happens next! Can't wait for book three!

I've never read the book the Island of Dr. Moreau, but I freaking loved the movie! Yet in this Island of Dr. Moreau inspired book, the atmosphere was so awesome, the creatures fantastical, and the writing lovely.

But Dear Juliet, what a fickle creature you are! Enter Montgomery, which any name that has more than three letters needs to be scrapped or given a nickname in a book. So we'll just call him Monty! Monty was cute and sweet and perfect and had interesting secrets. Then shut the front door, because here comes Edward... Edward Cullen? No... Edward Prince who needs to go away! The love declarations he made were too quick and ridiculous. Then Juliet was like, "Monty, I want Monty, but wait, because some of me wants Edward!" I HATE funky love triangles and fickle pickles!

Push that garbage aside and the book was great and fun with a crazy creep of a father. Some of us in life may have daddy issues, but Juliet really has some with an insane father who does some wild things on this island. This island is definitely no Blue Lagoon! And oh how I'm super interested to see what book 2 will bring!

After reading Two Thousand Years, I was excited to get into the head of my boy, Treyan. And he's exactly as you expect in this novella! Swoonworthy, real, devoted, and awesome!

My favorite aspect was getting to not only see past day stuff but present as well. The intertwining of past and present always makes the character feel even more developed. And it worked super great here, because we also get to see more of the side characters *cough Reylor* in the chapters!

Also, it was cool to see Alex from someone else's perspective instead of reading from hers. Love her! The writing was fabulous and seriously need that second book already!

If you've read Two Thousand Years, which I hope you have, then you know what a bad, bad boy Reylor is. The question you may find yourselves asking is, was he always this way? There has to be something that made him the way he is, right? Right?

Well, let me tell you dear friends that this is the perfect opportunity to get into this villain's head. Along the way you learn more about him, more about his background, and more about what made the future story come to pass. You also get glimpses of Treyan, Bria, and crew!

I highly recommend reading this one because you may possibly change your mind about how you feel about Reylor. Or, like me, you may even love him more than you already do! Great writing and perfect character development in this novella!

I was so thrilled to see a setting in India! The cover drew me in but the descriptions made me stay! I loved this unique take on Urban Fantasy!

There were scenes that had me laughing! I’ve said numerous times that I get annoyed with a lot of female MCs but I loved Asha and being inside her head!!

This books was full of emotions and romance and wonderful world building! Can’t wait to read book 2!

This series has been so much fun, and these men are just crazy and awesome! Oh, and my favorite part to this one was that Rosie likes to do paranormal ghost hunting stuff. I would be all over a chance to do that.

I've been waiting since book one—literally—to get inside Devlin's head. And good ol' Dev's head did not disappoint! He's very dimensional and has a whole lot of baggage that we uncover as the book progresses, like anxiously waiting to unwrap a Christmas present! Rosie was a great character, too! We learn about her backstory and it's a very sad one but she doesn't let it destroy her.

There are some twist and turns that I didn't guess, and there was one where I was like how is that possible? And may have been a tad over the top, but that's okay. I also feel like I still need answers!! I'll say it again, I hate ab covers, but that didn't keep me away from this fun and addicting story! Seriously, I'll read anything Armentrout writes!

I read this way back in elementary school but this story has stuck with me, even today!

Loved this one! And I swear this is where the idea for The Village came from! I loved that movie too!

I would read this book over and over again at Christmas time. The kids were bad, really bad, but their circumstances were tough! I just loved the whole pageant setup and seeing the characters grow. Also a fun fact: Fairuza Balk from The Craft was in the TV movie!!
