Me: Never judge a book by its cover!
Me: I totally just did and want it now!

Seriously when I saw this cover, I knew I had to have it! Then I read the blurb and was like, ohhhh I have to have it even more! I mean, The Odyssey meets Cinderella? Heck to the freaking yeah!

Enjoyed the story here! The writing sucked me right in and I couldn't let go. Selah was a great character when it came to speaking up and being strong, doing what she believed in. Loved that! Now, when it came to boys she was a little weak. Boys! Boys! Boys! There were THREE boys she was infatuated in this book. Count them! One! Two! Three! I can't handle it! I will say it wasn't all at one time, though. I will also say that I loved them all, but still wished the book had only had one! But Torden, you are mine!

There were some very nice twists in here. Two I did not see coming, so dear author, kudos to you! I really liked Selah's crew on the ship and the side characters there were very well developed. Lang and crew were just so awesome! The world building with the pit stops they made on there journey gave me perfect visualization. But with the freaking ending, I can't wait for book two! Need ittttttttttttttttt!

I love weird, and I love horror vibes with romance thrown in! So this was all of my cups of tea! Peppermint included! The whole idea of a weirdly, sick, creature baby getting switched with a human one was pretty freaking awesome!

Mackie may just be one of my favorite MCs ever! He was sweet and relatable. At first he didn't want to get involved with things. And to be truthful, I wouldn't either! Especially when there is all kinds of craziness going on below ground! Seriously loved all the side characters, especially Roswell! And I can't forget about Emma, Tate, or the twins!

Yovanoff has wonderful descriptions that aren't bordering anywhere near tiring. I could feel and see everything she described. Seriously loved this story! And I just threw my money out the window to order the rest of her books!

I've been really liking novellas and short stories lately! I can read through them quickly and feel satisfied! Also, a Three Little Pigs retelling? Heck yeah!

This is the second story I've read by Elle Beaumont and both have been equally amazing! Even though this is a novella, it was just as developed as a full length book! The writing and world building were on complete point!

Now, I love pretty much anything werewolf, and Niklaus, oh Niklaus, I did thoroughly enjoy being inside your head! There was some action, some romance, some struggles, and a whole lot of fun!

I love all things quirky and toss in some zombies and some weirdly excellent writing and I’m down! Also, let me state I loved the mention of all things cool, especially when my favorite movie, The Goonies, was mentioned!

Loved Li and all the side characters! It was really cool getting to see from a zombie’s perspective! Also brainsssssssss! This needs to be a movie so I can truly visualize these purple alien brains! And! Purple is my favorite color!
