I definitely liked this book more than The Star-Touched Queen. Gauri doesn't make a lot of idiotic mistakes like Maya did. She is strong and fierce! Vikrim, Vikrim, Vikrim! I loved him and his sass! There was a third point of a character named Aasha who I also connected with. I feel like Roshani can really write well, but sometimes the descriptions are overly done and a lot of the metaphors make zero sense. With that being said I don't even care they still go well with this magical world. Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/01/20/review-a-crown-of-wishes/
This was a cute read! Loved the MC and Zenn! It was a little predictable, but there was also some good humor! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/03/06/review-zenn-diagram/
Loved the bond between Caitlin and Adrian! There wasn't a lot of action in a lot of this, but there is this strange dream thing going on with Caitlin that I had to know more about! The book really picks up towards the end, and now I don't even know what just happened! Book 3 soon, please???? This book was super cute. I liked Darien and Elle, but Sage was my favorite character with her awesome attitude! It did have elements of the book Cinder & Ella, but it was still really good. Geekerella was nerdy and fun, and I kind of want a food truck on wheels now! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/01/27/review-geekerella/

All I can think of is Taylor Swift with that title... But once you get past the title... This book was really good, and the writing was addicting. There were a few witchy parts that reminds me of The Craft, so I was ecstatic about that. There are flashbacks between present and then back to the 1600's with a couple of sisters that have magic. There was some serious betrayal going on in the past, and I loved it! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/02/25/review-bad-blood/
I really liked this one, and I liked reading from Merinda's perspective. The sisterly bond between her and Mani was incredibly sweet. Plus there are some scenes with snakes! Yes snakesssssssssssss! The romance was instaish, and I didn't really connect with Deven. He wasn't bad... he was just meh. This was definitely a good start to this series! This was an excellent conclusion to this fun series!! This time we also get a point of view from Dorothy, and she's something else! Loved the relationship between Knox and Amy in this one! The author has excellent world building skills, and that part was well done! This whole series was the perfect blend of light and dark! What I think that readers and writers tend to forget is that high school kids can be pretty immature. A LOT of these YA books I read, the characters act way past their actual age. I feel like Petroff pulls off the teens in this book extremely well, and the same with her other book I read. So, I get annoyed when I see reviewers say stuff about characters acting way immature in YA books where they match the age. I'm sorry did you act like you were 40 years old when you were in high school? Anyway, enough of my rant and more about this book! I loved that the characters felt real, and especially the friendship between Charlie and her best friend. J.D. was the perfect guy, and there were some very funny moments! This book also makes me wish it was Christmas already!! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/08/21/review-my-new-crush-gave-to-me/
Reread! I liked it even better the second time!
I love Natalia Jaster's writing. She has become one of my favorite authors! This book gave me a whole Blue Lagoon type feel, which I might add that I hated that movie, but this is what the movie should have been! I felt this book was probably her deepest book, and a very character driven novel. We get to be inside Jeryn and Flare's heads, and there were all types of emotions going on there. Jeryn showed a lot of growth throughout Dare, and I was constantly wanting to shake him at times in the beginning, but never quit rooting for him. My favorite couple ever made a cameo, and I think I literally screamed! Poet is perfection! The only thing I wanted more of was conversation between Flare and Jeryn because there was a lot of thinking going on in their heads... I know she can't talk, but he can read lips, so when they were conversing it was magical, and I wanted more of that! Before I forget, Little Knight almost stole the show! And I absolutely adored how the book ended!! Full review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/08/14/review-dare/
