I really liked this one, and I liked reading from Merinda's perspective. The sisterly bond between her and Mani was incredibly sweet. Plus there are some scenes with snakes! Yes snakesssssssssssss! The romance was instaish, and I didn't really connect with Deven. He wasn't bad... he was just meh. This was definitely a good start to this series!
