Good writing. Love triangle was weird. Hopefully next book avoids that aspect.

So far I like it better than the Trylle series. Ridley is awesome!

This book was just as good as the first one. At first I wasn't sure if I was liking the book because I could tell Ridley wasn't going to be in a lot of the book, but after a little bit in it started getting good, and of course left me with a cliffhanger in which now I neeeed the third book.

This book was a lot of fun! I hated Doran at first and was pretty sure it was going to stay that way but alas I was wrong. The romance was perfect, and this space crew had me wanting to be aboard that ship.

Extremely beautiful writing, and Amar is absolutely perfect, but Maya's decision making most of the time without really thinking took away a star. This book made me want to be in this beautiful place away from here.

This one was still good but not what I was hoping for! I was hoping to see the demise of Scarecrow, and for it to be darker like Heart of Tin. However, it still had some pretty cool history, and I definitely dislike Glinda!

I definitely liked this one. Medusa grew throughout the book, and her best friend and love interest Hermes was so incredibly sweet. There was no insta love or cocky douchey guy which was really nice. The side characters I really liked especially Bernie and Aphrodite. My only complaint was the end seemed to wrap up a bit too quickly.

Love square aside, I really enjoyed this book, especially the first 50 percent and the ending. The world building and writing were perfect. When it got to the robber stuff, I wasn't as thrilled, but some important stuff was revealed. Looking forward to book 2! First off I really liked the Splintered series, and I loved The Architect of Song... I think for me there were parts of this that were definitely worth 5 stars like the parts about Thorn's background, but it took me a little longer to get into this book, and it seemed like it took a long while for Rune to meet up with Thorn. I also really thought the side characters were interesting and would have liked to know more about Audrey, Sunny, and Jax. Rune was interesting especially being in her head, but Thorn was hands down the best character. The creep factor and gothic feel in the book I loved as well. I just wanted more dialogue between Rune and Thorn also, but there were some really good moments between them that I adored.
