Would you like to read a book about rural India? Then add this book in your TBR. This book talks about the rural India and the struggles faced by the rural India. Right from the selection of seed for agriculture to sending out a quality product, this book covers all.

The good thing about the book is, the author has valid resources for all the data he used in the chapters. So if you want to do background reading, you can refer those resources. And this makes the book purely academic.


The author has proposed many ways to overcome struggles faced by rural India. But I highly doubt that it will be impossible to implement all ideas. There are some spectacular ideas which can help in agriculture but I personally felt that some are purely bookish (it might be because I am  inexperienced or my knowledge in the topic is limited but that is purely my personal view).


The only thing I didn't like about the book is the page count. It has whopping 848 pages. It would have been better if the book has been divided into volumes with less page count. But considering the fact that the author didn't dump the book with loads of unwanted informations, I give up that one.


Over all, it's a great book and if you're a person who likes to read non fiction which involves facts and figures, you'll enjoy this a lot!


Would I recommend this book?


Definitely but not for everyone! This book is suitable for UPSC aspirants, history buffs and those who enjoy books with facts and figures. This book is a knowledge hub.

This is such a happy book to read. The story starts with Vishy failing his exam in his first attempt. Then the story proceeds with the UPSC journey of Vishy. The author has written the story with perfect mix of humour and story. The story talks about the various struggles of an aspirant in finding a good centre and their struggle to study well if they find a good centre. It also portrays the sad reality of aspirants who can't achieve their dream and how they bounce back from the failure. Overall it's a happy story and a short read. The one thing I didn't like is, the story is too positive to handle for my taste and Vishy is a jerk to his girlfriend at one point of the book (the only point).


Would I recommend this book?

Oh yes! This story is such a happy story and a short read. So, I'll definitely recommend to everyone I know.

Do you pick a book based on its blurb?

I picked up this one only because of the blurb. The blurb of this book installed a conflict, which intrigued me.


Well! I should say I'm not disappointed with the book. This book has a beautiful story of a guy, his ambitions, his hurdles to aspire his dreams, his struggle with lust and infatuation, his guilt when he couldn't achieve his goals everything was portrayed in a beautiful manner.


The journey of the protagonist and his family are portrayed nicely without any extra information and explanations. And this makes the book more enjoyable.


The author also portrayed about life of a lower middle class family in a realistic manner. The good thing about the book is all the characters, situations and their struggles are relatable. Also, it is a major plus that we can connect with the characters from the first chapter.


The only thing I felt unsettling is the end of the book. I felt that the characters didn't get their proper closure and there were few things that are left unexplained. In my opinion, the end was bit confusing. But this doesn't affect the essence of the story.  Also, I felt the book cover is a bit inappropriate for the story.


Overall, it is one realistic story with relatable characters.


Would I recommend this book?


Definitely! This book is a good evening read. Also, if you want to know the working of Indian Muslim families and communities, this book is one of my recommendation.

The story of the book is crisp and the writing style is good. But the story doesn't make an impact. This is just another story where the guy takes revenge on the girl. Makes a good Bollywood movie material.

Good story with a sensitive theme. The story talks about the struggle of a rape victim and how she overcomes the struggle. The writing style is crisp without any unwanted details.

This short story collection has a few interesting stories. I will not all the stories are bad. At the same time, all are not extraordinary. Certain stories are an absolute entertainer and certain stories are meh! But the author tried her best to bring out these stories and kudos to the efforts of the author. Overall, it's a nice evening read.

As the name suggests, the book is about a stalker. The story has a nice pace without any unnecessary details. The way the characters are portrayed and the technical details of the book is also good. The only disappointment is the writing style. Author has to improve a lot in his writing style. The writing style of the book is not as engaging as the story of the book. Other than that this is one interesting read!

Closet of Lies' as the name suggests is full of twists and turns. I picked up this book after reading the blurb. To be honest, I was sceptical about the story. But, it turned out to be an absolute page-turner. I liked the way how characters are portrayed and connected. Which I think is the best part of the story.
When you think that the book is over, there comes a big twist which keeps you on the edge. I liked the way how the author has woven the story.
However, at certain points, I felt that there was a bit of discontinuity in the story. The scene changes abruptly without further ado. This is both plus and minus of the story.
Also, I felt that the dealings by CBI were a bit amateurish. Maybe it's only my point of view.
Other than these, it's a well-woven thriller which keeps you at the edge.
Would I recommend this book?
Absolutely. I would recommend this book for all the thriller lovers!

Then this book is for you. 🔹According to me, this book is a step by step guide for your startup. There are too many terms for me to understand 😬😬 but nevertheless, it's a wonderful book. 🔸The writing style of the author is to the point and I felt that there are no unnecessary details in the book. The pace of the book is also commendable and its one of the greatest advantage of the book. 🔹A little disappointment is there are more lessons and less story. I expected to read more stories about Ganesha and instead learned lessons about entrepreneurship. Which I think is both plus and minus of the book. 🔸I couldn't find any big mistakes or errors in the book which is an added advantage. I liked the unique writing style of the author. It adds a nice flavour to the book.
