The McKenna men are messy and broken and HONESTLY I wouldn’t want them to be any different.
Connie and Huxley first cross paths shortly after he gets out of prison when they’re both attending his brother and his fiancée, Ozzy and James’, engagement party. however Huxley then realizes that he’s been caught in Connie’s orbit and he can’t seem to find his way out, no matter how much he tries or wants to forget about what happened that night. He just can’t seem to shake Connie from his system.
Connie announces to the group that she’s had enough of living in LA and announces to her friends that she’s moving back to Marsford Bay and purchasing a local theatre, and Huxley’s volunteered by his family to help her with the renovations. Only, Huxley isn’t the only one who’s still thinking about that night, but Connie’s walls that she’s built over the years are making it harder for her to open up.
Messy, messy, messssssy, these two are messy but the tension and angst are there right from the beginning.
After this week, I think it’s finally time to check into The Wolf Hotel ☀️🌊

ohhhhh my gosh, have I missed this world!!
we start off meeting Ronan, “Before Abbi,” when he’s choosing between staying in Florida, or moving to Alaska. At the time, Ronan is staying with his best friend Connor, and his half-sister, Ryan. Ronan chooses to move to Alaska with Connor for the new Wolf Hotel that’s opening, and that’s where he meets Abbi, the one he can’t have.
A year later, Ronan and Connor are being offered promotions at the new Wolf Hotel Mermaid Beach, but Ronan’s role comes with a catch: he has to stay way from Sloane, the owner of the local business next to the hotel….who may or may not have it out for the Wolf Hotel. But, Ronan may have come up with a plan that can both help him get ready to open, and keep Sloane’s business afloat…except they may now have gotten themselves a different problem that they need to solve that doesn’t involve hiring employees…..👀

Six year ago, MJ graduated high school and left her small hometown to go start law school with the intention of eventually taking over her father’s law firm. But even though she left, she was always leaving part of herself behind because of what was still left unsaid with her childhood crush, Mac. And while MJ has her secrets, Mac has quite a few of his own, too…
Now that she’s back home for the summer and helping her dad with Mac’s legal case, they both have some secrets hidden away deep within themselves that it’s time to let free. Will admitting their truths bring them back together or will it push them further apart?
Thank you so much to Maddy and HappilyBookedPR for the ARC!

I can’t believe this is the end to the Lancasters 😭 I’m so emotional
August is the son of Wit and Summer Lancaster (Things I Wanted to Say) and he is obsessed with Sinclair from the start, even though he isn’t ready to admit it to himself yet, or even her. So instead, he decides to do what he does best, hide his feelings and be mean towards her for as long as he can. And his plan seems to be working, at least until he sees her again when she’s now older and starting college, and he realizes just how much she’s grown into herself and matured over the last few years. And his feelings become harder to ignore and push down.
As August starts to slowly break down Sinclair’s walls, she has to decide if she’s willing to see August for who he is today and forgive him, or if she will continue to hold onto who he was when they were in high school. Because “when a Lancaster falls for someone, that’s it. That’s their person. For life.” 💕
Thank you so, so much to Monica and Valentine PR for the ARC! truly loved all of my time spent in the Lancaster universe 🫶🏼

“When you leave, I can’t do halfway with you. So let’s call this….you, me, and right now.”
Montana and her business partner, Violet, are struggling to figure out how to expand their wedding planning business since the owners of a local inn are deciding to sell and retire. She decides to go out for a night to blow off some steam, and ends up having a one night stand with a gentleman that she met. But she doesn’t yet realize exactly WHO it is that she hooked up with.
Myles has decided to invest his money in Blushing, Alaska on a piece of property that is partially undeveloped, and also houses the local Inn…….which happens to be the same Inn that Montana happens to be interested in for her business. As they spend more time together, their relationship begins to grow, yet they both fear the upcoming “end date” of when he heads back to NY, since he’s currently here to just “oversee” some of the renovations. Yet “Mr. Moneybags” hasn’t forgotten that “honey badger” (omg, I love a nickname!!!) also has a personal relationship with the Inn, and surprises Montana with having the crew make thoughtful renovations to save her memories.
Will Myles open up allow himself to love Montana and maybe move back to Alaska to be with her? or will their relationship truly end when he heads back to New York?
thank you so, so much to Laura, Montlake and valentine PR for this ALC 💕 can’t wait for the rest of the series!!

“You’re the most complex woman I’ve ever met. Do you come with instructions? If you do, they’re probably written in a foreign language because I’ve been trying to work you out for weeks with no luck.”
omggggggggg Ronnie!! Their banter. His thoughtfulness. Truly a top notch book.
the moment Booth sees Alessandra, he’s obsessed and determined to spend time with her. Only, Alessandra is in Sutton Bay to work, and maybe figure out some family details, but dating someone is not on her list of plans.
Slowly her walls begin to come down and she lets Booth into her heart, especially after being snowed in in a one bed cabin together 👀
thank you Ronnie, as always, for the arc!! 💕

“Beauty might only be skin deep. But love? In its purest, unfiltered form? That shit seeps into your bones, right down into your very being.”
I can’t believe we are FINALLY back in Rivers Run 💜
Zeke is a local military Sargent, who after a rough morning with his privates, is ordered to go to a party in town to make sure none of the privates misbehave. Maggie and her best friend Celeste, who’s a single mom, happen to head out to the same party after a rough week of family and friend drama to try and blow off some steam and have some fun. At least that is until some guys start hitting on her and she starts to feel uncomfortable, but Zeke manages to see her need for help without even fully meeting her yet and saves her from the group…..of some of his privates.
Zeke quickly finds himself infatuated with Maggie, even to the point where he takes a sick day from work to be able to spend more time with her. Except, his superior isn’t very happy that Zeke is now starting to choose a girl over the military…and he retaliates against Zeke by relocating him to a base across the world. All the while, Maggie’s been fighting her own inner demons caused by her “mother” Diana, as well as anxiety from bad run in with someone from her past. Will she agree to marry and move with Zeke, and allow him to help her? Or will she choose to stay in Rivers Run and try to keep fighting on her own?

After a rough break up sent her home, Claire decides to spend the summer with her best friend in New Jersey while working as a life guard. When she heads to meet her new landlord, she actually ends up at Miles’, her ex-boyfriend’s older brother, front door. Miles has just been working hard and keeping his head down, trying to save money so he can buy his brother out of his grandmas house. And now Claire is here, messing with his schedule and groove, driving him CRAZY, and creating summer bucket lists.
Miles has always been secretly obsessed with Claire, even when she was dating his brother. But now she’s here….staying with him for the summer. Surely, if they just establish some rules (like no flirting), then what could go wrong?

“Caleb—“ “Yeah. I’m gonna remember the way you just said my name, so I’m going to let you go before I get in my truck and head your way to see you make it in person.”
Caleb and Emily happen to cross paths, which ends in a one night stand….and Emily getting pregnant. Only, Caleb left the next morning and Emily couldn’t find a way to get in contact with him…..for three years. Until one day when her best friend calls her and says she finally found Landon’s dad and that he was a football player, and Emily decides to go confront him, but it wasn’t actually Caleb at the stadium, it was his brother. He passes Emily’s letter to Caleb and eventually Emily is able to explain that just wants Landon to know her dad and have him and his family in their lives, and lucky for her, Caleb hasn’t stopped thinking of her all of these years later, either.
