Griffin. King. Whew!! There is something about childhood friends to adult lovers that has so much emotion and background, I’m truly obsessed.

Ruby is struggling with a fear of intimacy and she doesn’t know who she can go to for help with learning about some….ahem *things.* just as she’s about to turn to strangers, she happens to run into her old childhood neighbor, Griffin. Ruby always had a secret crush on his twin brother, but after she moved away, they lost touch and haven’t seen each other. But now, it just so happens that Griffin is actually in town for a few weeks staying at his agents house to “lie low” after causing some trouble…..Maybe he can help her out with some lessons?

Thank you to Montlake, NetGalley, and Karla for the e-ARC!

Tess is still grieving her parents and she sets off on a trip to meet her new-found uncle for the first time. She ends up meeting Kit, one of the local sheriffs deputy’s, when she needs a ride from the airport when her uncle is busy. They continue to cross paths while she’s there but unfortunately Tess’s stay to meet her uncle is short and she has to go back home. But, Kit CANNOT get her out of his mind no matter what he does or how much he tries.  Which is why come May, he gets on the plane to Florida to surprise her at her yearly vacation to The Carmen, a beach resort she used to frequent with her family….i mean…..she did invite him to go………….right?

Kit shows up for Tess from the get go, no questions or doubts about it and I LOVE them. He is so patient with her and cares for her so deeply, even while he tries to navigate his own family struggles  I mean even he talks to a photo of her parents that hangs in the resort lobby 😭  seeing these two fall in love and ALLOW themselves to be loved was so beautiful. Hannah, please expect a bill from my therapist, as per usual 💙

**thank you Hannah for the ARC!

Michelle and Hunter are both looking for a quick hookup and turn to swiping on some apps until they happen to find each other, but decide to keep up the anonymity (Bonnie and Clyde 🤭) and don’t stay in touch. Which seems fine at the time, until Michelle realizes she’s that pregnant, and now she has no way to contact the father. At least that is until she runs into him at a friend’s Memorial Day picnic.  Hunter has to decide if he’s going to move to DC to help Michelle through her pregnancy, and if he does, does he want a relationship with her? Or is he okay with just being co-parents?

RACHEL thank you a MILLION for this arc as always, I am so obsessed with these brothers

When away on a business trip in London, Hudson is becoming desperate to close a business deal and gain access to a club that typically requires you to be “married” to join, and Sloane is becoming desperate to find a way to come up with 40k so she can buy her and her sister’s house before their landlord decides to sell it.  Oh, and Hudson’s client may also need a fill in bridesmaid for his upcoming wedding……..perhaps there’s a way that they can help each other out here?

“This isn’t fake dating, Sloane. This is a goddamn marriage. You’re my wife. The expectations are different.”

“Because you’re…you’re my weakness.”

there is sooooo much tension and banter between Hudson and Sloane right from the start. Hudson is so grumpy and shut off, and he has such a dirty mouth, but this wouldn’t be a MQ book without his grumpy walls slowly coming down for her, along SO many laughs and mishaps.

THANK YOU to Meghan and GGPR for the ARC and ALC. this was truly such a good listen 💕

Griffin is the owner of a local bar, called Seven Stools, and he’s also been trying to sell his old tiny home.  Luckily for him, Nan finally found the perfect buyer! She’s a new girl in town who’s recently divorced and has moved to Bluestone Lakes to start over…and her name is Blair! Only, Nan leaves out a key piece of information…..Blair is moving from the city….and well, griffin HATES the city…..so….this will be totally fine…right?

“I’m not someone who’s supposed to care like this. I’m not someone who’s supposed to be curious about the city girl.”

After his last relationship left him feeling heartbroken and left behind, Griffin has sworn off all women. Or he did until Blair came along. Will Griffin be able to open up and let Blair into his life?

“Are you gonna be a good girl and stay quiet or do I need to keep my hand over your mouth?”

When I say I couldn’t stop listening to this book, I MEAN IT. I didn’t want it to end, I couldn’t wait to do my house chores (like who is she ???), and I am just OBSESSED with them.  QB Tyler’s writing is just *chefs kiss*.

Rowan now has full time custody of his three children after their mom, and his ex-wife, unfortunately passes away, leaving him as a single father. Elianna is a college student who actually was planning on taking a semester OFF from being a nanny, or at least she was until she runs into little Isla with her uncle River in a grocery store and Isla asks her to be her new nanny since she lost her mommy.  Elianna immediately bonds with Isla since she also has been grieving the loss of her own mom, but Rowan’s other two kids, SJ and Margot, may need a liiiiiittle bit more convincing about her being around…….

QB did such an amazing job at handling and growing so many characters with complex emotions from teenage years to them working through the loss of a parent.  I CANT WAIT for Rivers story!!!!!

Thank you thank you thank you to Must love audio and QB Tyler for the ALC

Alexander is just……whewwwww 🔥

these characters are sooo complex and messy but in such a “they feel so real” way, and all of their stories are so very intertwined that you HAVE to read this series in order (Alexander is book #4!), and I promise that it’s so worth it, this series will take you on an absolute RIDE and it is so worth every twist and turn. This story absolutely WRECKED me, but there is so much emotion and character growth packed into it. I can’t wait to see what mess they manage to find themselves in next

Rowan is a single mother to her daughter Natalie, and she was recently hired as a full-time architect to help restore a local mansion. She meets a gentleman named Tim, and they hit it off and go on out on a few dates. Or at least, she thought they hit it off until Tim cancels a date last minute and goes completely silent. But Rowan isn’t quite ready to let him go, and has been checking his phones location to see if it’s because he’s dating someone new.  Except when she went for a walk down the street to see who his new girlfriend was that he was driving around with, she ended up finding his dead body……right in front of the mansion that she works at.

I am normally not a thriller reader, but this one kept me on my toes and I could not stop reading!

THANK YOU!!! to Sarina, her team, happer Collins, and NetGalley for this arc!

The third and final book of evergreen park! And whew! What a revenge romance!

Wes is a band member of Atlas Oaks, and he has been secretly crushing on Harper for years, but she’s been in a relationship….or should we say…WAS in a relationship. Harper is a fashion designer who recently broke up with her cheating ex-boyfriend, and decided to have some fun with her girlfriends by doing an innocent prank to get some revenge. Or at least it seemed innocent until the cops showed up….and they were arrested.

But don’t worry! Wes comes up with the perfect plan to not only save her reputation, help the band explain a tour break, AND also irritate her ex: let’s get married.

Thank you booked with Rae & Morgan for the arc!!
