Caleb and Emily happen to cross paths, which ends in a one night stand….and Emily getting pregnant. Only, Caleb left the next morning and Emily couldn’t find a way to get in contact with him…..for three years.  Until one day when her best friend calls her and says she finally found Landon’s dad and that he was a football player, and Emily decides to go confront him, but it wasn’t actually Caleb at the stadium, it was his brother.  He passes Emily’s letter to Caleb and eventually Emily is able to explain that just wants Landon to know her dad and have him and his family in their lives, and lucky for her, Caleb hasn’t stopped thinking of her all of these years later, either.
