a stunning masterpiece of a mythological retelling, with poignant characters and tangible feminism plot lines. if you loved circe you would definitely love this. 

it is beautiful and tragic that leila mottley wrote this tender masterpiece  at such a young age.

at the beginning i wasn’t really enjoying it as i didn’t really relate to drinking culture, but as it went along a lot of her worries and thoughts were similar to mine. a soothing yet emotional account on life and growing up. 

the way grief was described was beautiful, but that's literally it. the rest of the writing was too cringe for me

what the fuck this book made me cry on a sunday night. magical libraries, talking books and a howl-like sorcerer this book is so me-coded. i love everyone and everything in this book my heart is so full after falling back in love with reading
