a very slow start, the mc and the mmc didn't even interact properly until after the 100 page mark. but it was a sweet story nonetheless, about family, sisterhood and love.

i dont have the words to describe this book yet, will get back to it hopefully once ive got hanya to pay my therapy bills

literally nothing is happening
adventurous challenging slow-paced

as always, astoundingly witty and beautiful writing, heartwarming dynamics and characters. the only thing that i disliked was that it felt like gansey and blue were kind of taking the backseat, like they were just going on places or dates while adam and ronan were having the roughest nights of their lives, or actually putting in the work? idk i wished there were more gangsey dynamics, especially because it was the last book.

i loved how immersive the campus life was, made me nostalgic for my own. the romance was indeed subtle, but i'm glad i got to see their relationship build over trust and vulnerability. the YA cringe came in the form of the mc using her favourite snacks as exclamations, like 'cool ranch doritos!' or 'unicorn ice cream!' which i guess was supposed to come off as quirky but instead i found grating. andie was a great character, she definitely had a compulsive need to help people that came off as frustrating at times, and i don't think it ever resolved itself despite her seemingly growing. other than there being way too many bookstagram references, it was a pretty good book.

how am i halfway through the book and cannot care less about any of the characters; the premise and the prologue were so strong too im kinda bummed

funny, sexy and sweet. the beginning sex scene is hilarious, and finn is honestly the perfect guy. romance lovers pls read this!!
emotional

honestly a bit disappointed with this; it was basically the tv show written down, with not a lot of additional content. there were a few more brimsley reynolds scenes, but their ending wasn't explained like it wasn't in the tv show either. the first half was a bit of a drag too, but i enjoyed the angst and growth of the main characters.

silias, nathaniel and elisabeth best trio i will love them forever pls write more of them margaret!!
