Overall this book was good, the urban aspects were there, the romance was there & even the plot twist was definitely there. My only issue is that the transitions were a little choppy like & the time jumps weren’t identified. Like you didn’t know that we jumped 3 months in advanced until you continued reading.

Aimee & Capella pissed me off in this book & based on how Shante acting she may have to be added to the got to go list. 

This Christmas book gave allllll of the Christmas vibes & I loved every bit of it. This book featured the fake dating trope, friends to lovers (lowkey) trope and touched on grief. Both Kendrick and Shanice has experienced the loss of a loved one, but the effects of those losses vary. Shanice put her all into the Christmas holiday while Kendrick just gave upon Christmas. This is the story of how two broken characters come together and heal each other & support each other during the holiday season. I loved everything about this book.
