This book gave very much lifetime Christmas movies vibes. Ace was an FBI agent that is friends either Zahir/Demise (from Keva’s dream) & Nia was the manager at Zahir’s hotel. When the system at the hotel is taken over by hackers. Ace comes to save the day. At first Nia tries her hardest to resist Ace & his charms for various reasons but eventually she gave in & she was committed to her silver fox 😂 This book was good & it had the Christmas vibes, the dilemma of being in an age gap relationship, mild drama, mentions of anxiety & stress. 

Christmas with the Lewis aka one of my favorite bookish families. This book was filled with laughter. The amount of times that I cackled is ridiculous, Lmao. There’s some heart tugging and emotional moments as well to give a nice balance. I ate this book up & it really makes me want to reread All in & troubled waters

Baaaaaabbbbbyyyy Kimberly has been in her urban romance bag lately & I love it!!!! Stanley aka Deuce aka Deucey was everyyyythinngggg. Just read the book

Davina irked tf outta my nerves!!!! I get she’s grieving a huge loss & it takes time to cope with that loss but I get the vibe that she’s stringing Deke along & then when someone got in her hear & talked negatively about him she wanted to give him the cold shoulder like she hasn’t been telling this man that their just friends for over half of this book. & then there’s no romance really in this book to me. I made it to 68% & only two romantic things has happened. At this point I’m ready to go in the book & grab Deke & tell him to stand tf up!!! 

This may be my favorite M. Monique book 🫢🤫🫣 The way these men loved on their women. The way the protected them from everyone who meant them harm. The way they allowed them to grieve in their own way while also supporting them & letting them know that they’re there for them always & forever 🥹🥹🥹 I do love how I went through all the feels throughout the book & the emotional stuff was spread out evenly. The book wasn’t just heavy & emotional in a sad way. I definitely cackled (especially at Saar & Kasha) & I definitely swooned. 

Baaaabbbyyyy now that’s a fantasy book. Now I’m not gone lie at times it was hard to keep track of all the moving pieces & all the characters & things in act 2 but I was able to get the overall picture. It was Act 3 that really made this book go from a 4.5 rating to 5 stars because that shi was sooo good & fye. I also loved how the book technically does end on a cliffhanger but not a real bad or drastic cliffhanger. Which to ne is a good thing especially since the next book doesn’t come out until Summer 2025. 

Asia Monique has done it AGAIN!!! This book was really good. The overall plot of the story flowed well. It had all the good elements of a marriage of convenience Maria romance. I also loved how there was nooo third act breakup or a threat of one at all. These two communicated so well which I appreciated. I also loved seeing my favs Rocco & Gaia. As well as, the potential sneak peeks of possible couples/stories to come.
