3.25/5 I felt like this book was sort of all over the place. I felt like the author had various plot ideas & decided to use all the ideas but it didn’t mesh or flow well but there were some good parts & the spice was nice but some things were unnecessary

This book is a cute fluffy read & that’s about it, there was no true plot for me. When the two main characters meet it’s instant attraction & they do a little flirting but they try not to think too much into it thinking that they’ll never see each other again. Well they actually see each other again a couple of days later & it ends in them having some grown up fun 🥵 & then try their hardest to convince themselves that it’s just s3x with no strings attached. It eventually became annoying because neither character was willing to admit to the other that they actually liked them fr. It was like y’all grown & doing all this nasty stuff but scared to communicate your feelings 🙄 I also hate it when authors do the whole book in first person & then switch it up in the epilogue (there’s 3 epilogues in this book). However, I did love the sibling relationship of both characters & Jordana’s mom was like a true mama I loved that.

Very much low vibrational but definitely gave what it was supposed to give. Jay & Bre are the definition of ride or die & don’t play about each other.
medium-paced

This book wasn’t as low vibrational as book one but it was still low vibrational. Amir was as crazy as his brother but he was pretty close especially when it came to Monique. Just like book 1 I killed myself laughing at the banter between the characters & the bad ass kids. This book could’ve easily been 5 stars but there was an excessive amount of typos that at times interrupted & disturbed the reading experience.
