This book was actually good. Kazier is a man who is a successful rapper & is used to women trying to use him & things like that which resulted in him building a wall around his heart & just ultimately being a f boy. A wild night at the club led him to meet Ny’asia & that’s where the ride begins. I loved how Ny’asia wasn’t afraid to admit that she wasn’t always a good person & how she owned her stuff. when it came to the situation with her ex I do wish she would’ve came clean to Kazier when she had the chance too. I loved the side characters in this story too. Kazier’s parents being my favorite. 

This book is the epitome of grown folks love. The way these two were soo mature in the relationship from the beginning to the end. There was no lying, cheating, toxic arguments, etc. Nas was on a healing journey & wasn’t really ready to be open to let another woman in but then he met Dae & he started thinking that maybe he can allow himself to open up to let her in & try this thing call love again. This book showed that you can very well have multiple loves & the way you love one person may be different from the way you love another but neither one cancels out the other. I really loved this book. 

Before I start rambling about how loooved this book just like I did the previous 4 books. Let me say that I honestly wished we could’ve seen more of the siblings like Ledge & Lawe are twins & they only had two “scenes” together & 1 was over the phone while the second was in the epilogue. We did see more of Laike which kind of makes sense because they’re literally the same personality wise but o would’ve liked more interaction with the whole game. 

Now on to the good stuff….Listennnn it’s the way that I could relate to Kleu’s level of independence & refusing to love again after a major heartbreak. Lawe gave nooo f..ks about all that stubbornness & refusing to love agin stuff Kleu was talking though & I loved it. Now I was rocking with Kleu every step of the way until I read her reaction to Lawe’s secret. She had every right to be mad but she really was gone walk away because of that?! Nawl be fr sis. Also I wish Lyric or Kleu would’ve drugged tf outta Bianca (& yes I called that twist from the first paragraph of chapter 1). 

I’m lowkey not a fan of the interaction/incident with Eric but I get it was a Segway to get Kleu to evaluate her feelings & things for Lawe. Which I also wish we could’ve seen how Baisleigh, Ditto & the rest her girls helped her figure out that she wanted to mend things with Lawe. 

Finally, Even though we’re saying bye to the Eisenbergs I can’t wait for them Berkeley boys & because of how this book ended I know Lawe is gonna make an appearance in Malachi’s book.

This book was all gas no breaks. It was soo fast paced & despite the whole 27 year old virgin thing it was a decent book. I stayed tuned in & didnt want to put it down.
