Just know that this MMC (Frisco) has the most audacity I’ve ever seen but it worked out for him. I am glad that Yakima made him work for it though & had him standing all in the rain & stuff like it was the 90s.

3.75– This book was a 4 star book for me until the end. The book ended on a cliffhanger about a different couple that wasn’t added until the very end & according to the author there will be no new book. There also were a few things that were never clarified like who unalived Nicole & what ever happened to Sasha like did she pass or is she okay, etc. But other than that the book was good. I think Monica is one of my fav. FMC’s. She was sooo bad a** & did not care at all. Home girl was painting the streets red with no care in the world, but also how baby let her know that she didn’t have to be tough, street, guarded around him kinda made me swoon. He showed her what a real man was & that he would always be that for her.

This book was sooo cute. I loved the dynamic between Rome & Janelle. Janelle was really out here sacrificing her peace & happiness to please her miserable sister & her mama but of course my boy Rome was not having that.
I think this book would be the perfect vacation read if you’re looking for something short, cute & spicy. It’s also the perfect palate cleanser (if you’ve been in a reading slump or you’ve read too much dark romance & want something lighter, etc.)

What a way to end this series. The character development throughout this book (&series) is immaculate. I loved that Ghost & Nik had a relationship that is similar to Zane & Ryder from riches to riches. I also loved seeing the entire gang back together again kicking butt, telling jokes & being there for each other. In each duet there’s been a family built within the relationship but I think the most beautiful thing is the found family aspect including everybody from book 1 until now. I feel as though there were more present/positive/good parents in this book (& part1) in comparison to the other duets but also you of course had the crappy parent. The only thing that stopped this book from being 5 stars for me is the fact that I kept getting upset with how long it took them to catch tink he was like a freaking cockroach & it annoyed me.

The plot twist, the emotions, the character development, the love, the spice…OMG. I’m honestly speechless. I loved the emphasis on family & found family that was displayed during this book especially at the end. I also liked how this book set up the plot for the next book & already has me ready to start it. This series is definitely in my Top 5 favorite series & it’s not number 3,4 or 5.

First of all NOBODY does why choose/reverse harem like Ames Mills. Second of all I looooved this book 😍 The spice, the mafia trope, the relationship dynamic, the way all the MMCs helped rebuild the FMC confidence & self esteem, the fact that Evie is totally different from Les, I loved it all. Also the personality of the MMCs in this book is similar (but also different) to the MMCs in the riches to riches duet which I loved but it also made me miss those guys. On to part two…

I am not a fan of second chance romance but this one was good & is my favorite of the series so far. I loved how the author was able to split the book into two parts without making the book long & drawn out. The first part is Kai & Olivia’s relationship growth from friends to lovers to exes & then the second part is the present & how they rekindle their relationship. I do wish Olivia had a little bit more backbone when it came to her father but it all ended up working out. I also LOOOOVE Kai’s friend group & how they play no games about each other. The way they came through & showed up not only for Kai but for Olivia too kinda made me teary eyed. I can’t wait for Shane’s book.
