The realism this book portrayed was beyond amazing. I loved how this author protrayed the Jamaican culture through this book & made/kept it as real as possible. I do wish the plot was wrapped up better or had a better outcome but despite that what happened (the end result) is very much real.

If Kyle isn’t like his daddy 😂 That’s really all that’s to be said Kyle is just like Aaron from the grumpiness, the love for family, the love of Townsend industries, the possessiveness & my wife stuff & the forced marriage. I loved this book. I can’t wait to see which kids will get their own book (I know Diego & Monique is next). I do wish the family could’ve all been in it more but it all still worked out.

This book was beautiful. The situation the main characters were in was lowkey messy & honestly made me dislike shondra but the way the relationship between the couple & their families developed was beautiful. I definitely teared up a couple of times especially when the talk of loss of a parent was discussed. I loved how both ppl supported each other & gave each other reassurance when it was needed with no questions asked. I also loooved the extended epilogues.

The character development in Winter was chefs kiss. The difference in who she is from when we met her in flawless to the end of reckless is amazing but you also get an explanation as to why she was an ice queen. Theo was amazing as well. He was a young cowboy who ppl never took serious & he wanted to change, he wanted to be a great bull rider like his dad & Rhett, he wanted to have ONE woman & build a family with her & he made all that happen. I liked how both characters were insecure but showed it differently but still helped each other overcome that. I can’t wait for beau’s book.

This book reminded me of the song lyric “I’ll rather have a piece of a man then no man at all.” But with a different meaning. Jasper & Sloane have been crushing on each other since they were kids but neither wanted to risk losing or ending their friendship by becoming a couple. Eventually they stopped being scared & got it together & once they did Jasper was NOT letting up off Sloane no matter what or who. Sloane was his & that’s all that mattered. I loved how dominating Jasper was in the spicy scenes but wasn’t too much that it would change the vibe of the book. Also I feel like Harvey is my favorite character from this series.

First of all I loved the relationship between KJ & Yori. It’s like he immediately felt her maternal feature & acted accordingly. I also loved how Calvin was always ready to ride for his sister-in-law & the way him & Kyan handled her trifling ex whew. Kyan exuded BDE & was always down to ride for Yori.

3.75— Be sure to check TW this book deals with suicide, loss of a child, postpartum depression, etc.
This was a good book. Kamaria kinda got on my nerves a little bit because she kept running & had no reason too but creed wasn’t having that. I wish we were giving a little more detail or something about Brooke. Because baby girl was going through something serious which we could tell by her demeanor from the beginning of the book until the end. I felt like her issue was bigger than postpartum depression.
