By FAR my favorite of the series. This book isn’t how I thought it would be like I though Gaia would give Rocco a run for his money & not fold so quickly but sis folded like a pretzel sooo fast 😂 but also I gotta go back & reread the other books because I had no idea Rocco was soo gone for Gaia. Like there was no question he liked her & wanted her off rip.
The thing I love about this series is the FMC’s are on whatever when it comes to the men in their lives. Gaia really gave nooo f..ks when it came to her man & his sisters. I loved this book & im excited to hear that it’s far from over & that there’ll be at least 4 more books.

Malek definitely moved to number one & moved Daddy Declan to number two. The way he cared for her, the way he kept popping up on her because he was OBSESSED, the way he loved her & the way he sexed her…I loved it. Riley was very similar to Sloane, however, there were moments where I was side eyeing Sloane. It’s like we seen a different side of her & of spider cause wtf was his problem?! Overall, I loved this book & it’s my new favorite out of the series.

By far my favorite of the series..so far (I think Cleo & Rafaele may change that). I’m not even going to lie Gemma got on my nerves just like Valentina & Martina did but I think she’s my favorite FMC in the series so far. Despite me loving this book & the two MMC the teasers & angst between Cleo & Rafael whew baby 🥵 I don’t see how Gemma or anybody else didn’t see the fact that Rafael wanted Cleo & not her & I hope we get an explanation on why he was okay with marrying Gemma instead of Cleo.

4.75– not even gone lie Martina got on my nerves a little bit. It’s like she struggled to listen & follow orders. It’s like she forgot what happened to her in book 1 & just wanted to be careless but she made up for it & eventually put her lessons to use. My man Gio fought his attraction & desire HARD & his reasoning made sense but kinda didn’t like just be a man you like Martina & you want her man up & face whatever consequences may come but like Martina he eventually got it right & made up for his mistakes & issues.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a GOOD mafia romance & this book has reignited my love for mafia romance. The way Damiano “didn’t like” Valentina but every time she hurt herself or wouldn’t eat, etc. he was right there rectifying the situation. Everything was on point the plot, the spice, the angst, EVERYTHING.

The only thing stopping me from giving this book 5 stars was I wished Yasmen & her friends were at least a little petty when it came to Josiah & Vashti but I also understand that these characters were GROWN & mature & of course acted accordingly.
The way Mrs. Kennedy Ryan wrote this story of loss, grief & second chances was amazing. The story of how suffering a loss can impact the family unit as a whole as well as effect the individuals of said family unit *chefs kiss* this book is definitely a favorite of the year.

The book started out good & angsty & kind of mysterious but between the lack of communication, wrong assumptions being made & then the turn of events with Grayson & his parentage it’s too much & annoying 🙄

SPOILER ALERT
This book had all the potential in the world to be a good friends to lovers romance book, however, when I opened the book on kindle it jumped straight into the first chapter which wouldn’t have been a problem if an on page & detail r@p3 didn’t occur in the second chapter. There was nooooo content or trigger warning for the r@p3 or the @b0rti0n that happened due to the incident. & then to make matters worse the characters didn’t get together until 90% in the book like wtf & at that point it was hard to not DNF but I pushed through & scanned the last couple of chapters.

Let’s start with the things i didn’t like about this book: The first couple of chapters should have been the prologue & one chapter the fact that it was spread over multiple chapters & like 15% of the book was unnecessary to me, and this book ended on a cliffhanger (& according to reviews of the other books the series isn’t finished yet).
Now for the good stuff: BABYYYYYYY NUCCA was THAT 🥷🏾 with his light bright behind. The fact that he was able to wait & watch Daija for five months showed his patience & growth. He wanted to learn everything about her. He was obsessed af & definitely crazy but I loved it. I also loved how he basically told Daija that she was gone have to learn how to get over the situation that Rowan put her through cause he wasn’t him & he wasn’t gone ever do her like that or make her feel how Rowan made her feel.
I loved the relationship between Daija & her cousin Brina them girls was funny af & soo relatable.

I honestly think Dion is the nastiest Windsor (so far Zane MAY give him a run for his money we’ll see) Dion gave very much filthy mouth, BDE, if you like Daddy Emerson then you’ll like Dion. If you have a praise kink this book will very much fulfill you.
Now the only thing I didn’t like about this book was how both characters allowed their insecurities & fear to not communicate with each other. They would have a great moment & then the next Dion is worried if he’s good enough for Faye & Faye is worried if Dion is like her father, etc. I wished they would’ve been able to communicate those fears & insecurities to each other.
Also I want to applaud & acknowledge the character growth in Grandma Anne from book 1 (the wrong bride) to this book Luca & Val really forced her to change & its been good to witness.
