This book DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT!!!!! Kenya may be my favorite Armani sister 🤭 but baaaaby Sanche put his foot down & didn’t let up! He let dis know several times that he was Not one of them!!! I loved this book & this series. 

One thing QB Tyler is going to do & that’s write a damn good age gap + forbidden romance. This book was really good & spicy. I also feel like it moved at a quick pace. Nothing was drawn out ur over explained or anything like that. This one was goodT!!!

This book was sooo cute & fluffy. I loved the internal turmoil that Aaliyah experienced as a PK I loved the roughness of Von & I loved the innocence of Gia. This book was written well & flowed easy. 

It was good overall. It was super slow as in they didn’t hunch until like 80 something percent through I bout died because hunch already the tension was very much so present but it was good. It gave good ole southern gentleman with manners, loyalty, & a man of his word…Yzabel is definitely Willa’s sister frfr. This book is currently a standalone but I definitely gotta go back & read the books of the orphan series & Desparados series that I haven’t read yet. 

Ion really know what say. This wasn’t the best KC Mils book I’ve read but it also wasn’t a bad book. 

Mercy & Givens did NOT disappoint!!! I really didn’t know exactly what to expect with this book because we only got brief scenes with Mercy in the previous books. All we knew really was that she was on the WNBA & that she was a DeCorte & we didn’t know nothing about Givens fr. But baaaabbbbyyyy the way these two showed out in this book was soooo good. I think Givens is probably the sexiest MMC Aubry has created in the sense of personality & the way he let her have control temporarily & then showed her that she may be big mama but he was big dawg round that mfer & that he was not one of them. I loved these two. 

This book gives all the vibes of a good & cute small town romance ft a relationship between two people that grew up together and were friends but due to life, goals, and things they took different paths & were separated but life brought them back together. I loooved the country vibes of this book. I loved how the “conflict” between the two main characters was handled & that there was no 3rd act breakup. This was good. 

3.5 ⭐️ 

First of all I don’t know if I would classify this book as a dark romance it gives more psychological thriller maybe idk. In terms of dark romance it’s extremely light & very beginner friendly. The concept of the book was really good & intriguing & different because I’m used to seeing an MMC with some of those traits. However, I think I wanted more from Raya I wanted Raya to really push the envelope fr (that’s a me problem not a book or author problem). Also Ace is as naive as a kindergartener. 

The first strike was the fact that it was a why choose (FFMMM) but only the FMC’s had a POV. The second strike was in the prologue the FMC’s are doing spicy things for the first time & it was like she entered by burning core… WHYYYYYY???!!! The third and final strike was (it is a personal problem but still & also SPOILER…) this heffa went ghost just to pop back up 10 years later with 3 partners & a baby ohhh no sis gotta go. 

Listennnnn these two right here is the epitome of I don’t know how to communicate because I never learned & because of the trauma that I endured. They frustrated me to no end but I still enjoyed it. It was nice watching the character development for both of them but especially Antwan. But also that ending has me sliding down the wall because not my favsssss 😭😭
