I’m literally OBSESSED 🤩😍 I have no words. This was sooo good. I love how the author slowly introduced more characters into this story making the transition from book 2 to book 3 really smooth. I also loved how she wrapped up the plot of this but also left some hanging so that it can be integrated into the next book(s) without it being choppy or confusing, etc. You do get an epilogue at the end of this book but it’s to help prep you for one of the plot lines taking place in book 3. 

This book pulls you in literally from the first sentence. If you like Diamond Johnson books then I feel like you’ll definitely love this book/series. It’s a whole lot of 🥷🏾, sex, secrets, unhingedness, love, etc. The only thing is it did feel like at times the book dragged or was a little to wordy but other than that I loved it. 

Out of all of the books I’ve read by this author Mina/Billy is by far my favorite FMC despite her flaws. When people talk about their fav. MMCs written by Dandrige nobody mentions Jacoby & I don’t know why not because Jacoby was a sweet heart who had a rough childhood & went through a prolonged identity crisis but he did not & will not play about his Mina. This man went & bought her feminine products when she was on her cycle & they weren’t even boyfriend & girlfriend then like come on now 😍😍 

There’s something about a man knowing right off bat that the FMC is his forever & he’s immediately obsessed 😍 Nick was obsessed with his ev-Angel & it was sooo cute. Now, I’m not gonna lie Evangeline did get on my nerves because sis I get that you had a rough childhood & you used to being on your own, etc but let that man love you, spoil you, treat you like a queen, etc. Also this book is lowkey a baseball romance despite there being more romance than baseball because it’s toward the end of the season. 

This book was soooo good. The drama, the comedy, the action, the small twist, the black love, the teasers for the next book(s). All of it was sooo good. Easily one of the best books I’ve read & I can’t wait to read of the rest of this friend group & the consortium. 

For this book to be a novella it is definitely action packed & it starts from the very beginning & lasts all the way to the end. It’s a nice setup for the next book. 

The way my jaw hit the floor is insane 🤯 I feel like this should be a movie or a plot to a tv show because I’m intrigued af. 

This book let me down soo bad. I’m not sure if my expectations was to high or what but I’m soo disappointed. I’ve been waiting for Az’s book since Sergei’s book & I just knew he was gonna be bada** & over the top & all the things especially since the book was advertised as an enemies to lovers but the two main characters aren’t enemies at all. For the first half of the book they hardly speak to each other & if it wasn’t for their inner monologue I wouldn’t have known that they liked each other or was attracted to one another & I was disappointed that we only got a glimpse of Sergei in the epilogue. Speaking of the epilogue it probably was the best thing about the book (minus Alessandro’s conversations with Felix) getting a glimpse at Kai & maybe what his book may be about. 

I honestly don’t think Ruslan groveled enough if at all for his mistake at the end of book one but whatever. I also spent majority of this book trying to tell him who was betraying him but he eventually figured it out the hard way. Overall this book was really good. It was filled with way more drama & action in comparison to the first book.
