Things definitely hits the fan in part 2 of this series but I also think this part dragged a little bit as well. Jah & Faye most definitely got on my nerves with their stubbornness & foolishness. I knew in part 1 that Sariah wasn’t no good & was acting too good to be true & I was definitely right.

This book pulled on my heartstrings from the beginning until the end. The real life things that’s addressed in this book (addiction, depression, trauma, etc.) was really good.

OMG, what an ending?! That’s it that’s all. Just know everything gets wrapped up & finished in this book. It was soo good & Diablo got exactly what he deserved.

I ain’t even gone lie I loved this part more than the first part & I think it’s because there was a lot of drama & twists within this part that I didn’t see coming. That dang on Diabolo ain’t worth two Pennie’s rubbed together & I hope he gets dealt with in book 3. Imma need humble to get right too because he’s really moving like a F boy & the fact that Saije is letting him is lowkey wild…I just know book 3 bout to be filled with more drama & I can’t wait.

Listennnn this was my first time reading from this author & she did not miss (by the time I’m writing this review I’m about to start book 3 of this series). The twists, drama, delusion, ignorance, etc. filled in this book is too much & best believe I ate it all up. I feel like if you like Shvonne Latrice & Diamond Johnson then you’ll definitely love this series by this author

This romance book was something slightly different from what I’m used to reading but it was still soo good. I loved the autism representation depicted. The only thing that I wish was different was that Zora should’ve went to h*ll literally but a win is a win I guess.

There isn’t a trigger or content warning page so here goes: cheating, grooming, child molestation/abuse, murder, bullying.
Firstly: We could’ve did without the epilogue because the epilogue only opens the room for more questions & in my opinion makes me go back to disliking Eve & Hudson.
Secondly: I don’t necessarily know if the drawn situation with Mr. Tuttle was needed
Thirdly: The book overall was good. It was the first time I guessed part of the plot twist which kind of made it underwhelming but that’s my fault for having a detective like brain. Ummm ion really too much know what else to say

Listennnn the way Uri got on my fawkin nerves in this book especially the last 20% of this book. I wanted to reach in & just bop him on the head 😂🥴 but I also wanted to mention that this book moves at a faster pace than the first one & it has the vibe of when you fix one problem another one pops up & that happens like 5 times but eventually Uri & Alyssa get it together & also the found family trope is kind of evident in this book as well.
