In my opinion Nicole Fox is one of the queens of mafia + surprise baby & you would think that eventually her stories would feel repetitive or lacking but no ma’am, no sir.
This story starts out like a romcom but then gradually things start to slowly hit the fan & the mood/vibe gets serious (especially towards the end). Uri is your typical grumpy bratva pakhan & Alyssa is your radiant sunshine, positive FMC who has been through some hard things. This book was definitely a good one & I think Polly may be one of my favorite side characters.

This book lived up to the expectation that was lowkey given in the previous book. Prynce was every bit of a hood ninja that fell fast, first & hard. Prynce didn’t play when it came to Safari & he let it be known. I’m ready for KaSyre’s book because that slight cliffhanger has me in suspense.

I literally read this book in one sitting. I love how T’lyn did the secret baby trope but with a twist to not make it typical or like majority of books with this trope. I also loved the sneak peek of Prynce & Safari’s story. I just know Prynce is going to drive her crazy & be a complete fool.

Aubry does it again… The twist on the kidnapping trope was like a breath of fresh air. McCoy understood that for her to get out of her situation that she had to take drastic measures or be unalived. She did what she had to do to live & she just so happened to fall in love during the progress. Earth said it was love at first sight therefore it was easy for him to grant McCoy’s request he just asked one thing of her & that was for her to love him due to everything she had been through it took McCoy a minute to do that but she eventually got it together.
It was soooo good to see all of my favs together/& mentioned. I can’t wait for the baby shower & I also hope at least fire gets a book 🤞🏾

You have those books that are sooo great & amazing that no matter what it will always be a TRUE Favorite & you’ll take it with you forever. This book is that for me.
This book is split into 3 parts/acts. Essentially, the beginning (Caprice’s childhood), the middle (caprice teenage year) & the end (Young adult) & through each stage/act you can see how the trauma occurred & how it effected her life & also how she healed from it. This was a beautiful story & I feel like it’s one that I will forever take with me.
fast-paced

This book was good & the whole grumpy sunshine trope was done really well. The story contain a couple of twists. However, I didn’t like the fact that Cass kept calling Dylan chubby it’s like he kept referencing her weight. I get she’s a BBW but sir you don’t have to keep reminding us.

That ending says that it’s fixn to be straight hell. If y’all thought the men & women went hard to get cent back then I know it’s gone cranked up times 1000 to get babygirl.

I will say that majority of the plot & storyline is wrapped up in this book. Like some of the loose ends that’s been around since book 1 gets taken care of by the end of this book but we also lowkey get introduced to a new storyline that involves Shantel & what she went through.

The smex scenes are still very much popping, moisture inducing & shocking. So read at your own discretion 😂

My favorite thing about this series is that the smex scenes are sooo good & erotic & just filthy but at times I find myself more interested in the plot. Like this series could legit be a tv series how it’s progressing. I love it.
