I honestly think I’m the problem but maybe not. The book kinda drags & then I been threw off since I made the connection of fifty shades series to Lawton & his relationship/history with Adele.

I was glad boss was finally dealt with..slowly & painfully cause he had all the audacity in the world. Zeke was HILARIOUS & im glad he finally got right & settled down with Brooke. They just make the perfect couple. This book made me hope we get book(s) for Xander & Xavier

Out of all the Nek Mills books I’ve read I think this one was a slower burn & it’s something that I’m not used to from her but still it gave plot twist, humor, found family (ish) & ofc an MMC with BDE.

This book was different from any other romance book I’ve read in the sense that the two main characters are already together & have been together for two years. This book was mainly about their (Kaivon & Harlee) internal struggles mentally & also maintaining the love in their relationship. I looooved everything about this book & for this book to be the authors debut book is wiiiild & im already waiting on Kylo’s book (Troubled waters) to be released in April. The family aspect of this book was also one of my favorite things. I can go on & on about this book. I know it’s early in the year but I gotta feeling that this one is gone make my top reads of the year list.

M. Monique does it every time with the romantic suspense & the romance be giving grown folks love mixed with a little unhingness & possessiveness. I love every bit of it. The way I flew to book 2 after I finished this one is crazy.

Honestly, Law took to long handling his business with Zuri but I guess I understand a little bit. I’m gladly life smacked the mess outta Ms. Zoey cause sis was outta pocket. The only thing I wish we had answers to was who pow powed Jeezy but it don’t really matter because karma took care of him.

Okaaaay I did not expect this to be a jail bae book but I liked it. Zuri was surrounded by straight BS minus her best friend & her father. So she desperately needed somebody like Law in her life it was just the situation law was in made there impending relationship forbidden but rules are meant to be broken. This book was soo good & I rushed to read book 2.
