It’s been a minute since I read a good enemies to lovers book & this one definitely gave enemies to lovers. Saleem & Pure were to alphas who both wanted to accomplish the same goal but Saleem got to it first which made him public enemy number 1 in the eyes of pure. I would classify this as a light enemies to lovers because even though the two bumped heads & didn’t like each other they still wanted to do the adult tango with each other. The lust was very much so present. This book was really good.

This story was really beautiful about miracles, living life to the fullest, & love. Rhian has this bucket list that she wants to fulfill & with the help of her cousin/bestie she’s almost finished with it. One item on the list is crashing a wedding & it’s at that same wedding that she meets her forever. How Rhian & Gideon meet is an actual meet cute one of the cutest I’ve read & they were just too cute from the time they met until the end. If you want something that represents black love, no drama, no third act breakup then I highly recommend this one.

In my review for the previous book I stated that I hoped Shakur wasn’t gone do what I thought & unfortunately he did & it bit him in the 🍑 & honestly they let Tey make it for too long in my opinion but whatever. I liked Presley but hated her mama she honestly could’ve joined Tey where she went but that’s cool. I can’t wait for the next book because wtf Nixi got going on?!

On episode 2 of YA Criminal minds…😂 This book focuses on Dean’s father who was an infamous serial unaliver who now has a copycat that is reacting his MO. I seriously think the plot of this was an actual criminal minds episode like I’m pretty sure I watched the plot twist on a criminal episode or on a tv show similar to criminal minds.
The reason that I didn’t give this book 5 stars is because I would have loved to get Deans POV being as though the case revolved around him & his dad but other than that it was good.

I’ve seen reviews where ppl were saying that if you like criminal minds then you will love this book & honestly they were not lying. This book is literally a YA version of criminal minds in book form. It was sooo good & it even had a little romance in there. It was good I’m on to book 2.

This was my first read by this author & it was soo good. I love a good marriage of convenience trope but I felt like this trope was done in a way I haven’t seen before. This story was more so a soft romance, and insta love. The MMC seen the FMC & was immediately drawn to her he knew that he was to ever see her again then she would be his. This story was beautiful.

Think of this book like an extended epilogue that includes an update of every single Graham & their significant other. The main event is Ciyani & Justice’s wedding but you literally get an update on what’s going with all the other Grahams. This book was soo beautiful but also lowkey realistic with some of the things that were going on (a family member that don’t act right, an important family member being ill, the emphasis on the importance of found family, etc.). This was a beautiful way to end this series. Kami did her thing truly.

Krude has been one of the most anticipated characters in Aubry’s bookverse simply because of how much of a fool he is. Genesis AKA Krude is the jokester of the family. Like he’s the one you can count on to make you laugh & to hardly ever be serious but don’t get things twisted when it’s time for him to handle business he can & will. If you’ve read Aubry’s books then you know this book is basically Krude & Megan’s story of getting back together & having the anticipated baby shower. Let me tell you a time was had during this book & Krude is as unhinged as his family & friends. I’m not even going to discuss the cliffhanger Aubry left us on because it’s typical Aubry behavior 🙄😂

If you don’t like secret baby/pregnancy this book may not be for you. If you don’t like insta love then this book may not be for you. If you don’t like urban romance then this book definitely isn’t for you. Wtbs Red got the biggest lick back when he seen his “girl” out on a date with another man on Valentine’s Day. He spotted peyson across the room & offered her one wild night but not only did he deliver on his promise but he gave her something extra too 🤰🏾 This book was frustrating & good at the same time. Frustrating because Red & Peyson had this tug & pull thing going on but also good for the same reason 😂 K.C. Mills did it again.
