The fact that we’re 8 books into this series & Shvonne continues to give us different plot lines & tropes while also providing updates on previous situations (iykyk) is amazing. I honestly had no idea what Uniques story would be like (I knew what it wasn’t gone be) & honestly I’m surprised in a good way of course. Uniques story was written in a way that made sense for how character. The main trope of this book is the only thing that made sense for Unique & what he had going on. I thoroughly enjoyed this book & im sad we’re almost at the end of the Comptons & St. Thomas’s.

This is just a short novelette about the birth of Stazi & Amir’s baby. 

First of all I would suggest you read 8 dates of Christmas first before reading this one but you don’t HAVE to. Second of all RIELLLEEEE!!!!!!!! You did that. You wrote tf outta Kennedy & Khalil. I did start off side eyeing Kennedy but I now understand sis & she’s alright with me. I’m not gone spoil it but Kennedy deserves all the forehead kisses in the world from Khalil

Aye sometimes you gotta divorce a trash man & pack you & your daughters stuff up & move to a different city to find the man that’s truly for you. Chrome was a man!! Like he definitely deserves to be on the book boyfriend list. However, Kosha & her daughter consistently pissed me. That daughter made me wanna jump through the pages & him her up for her mouth. Kosha constantly bringing up the obvious between her & Chrome (the age difference) was annoying especially since chrome been told her what it was & what it ain’t. Overall this was a good book but Connie don’t ever miss. 

This is my first read by Iesha Bree & I was not disappointed at all. Tru was funny af & if you like an MMC that’s extremely blunt and borderline rude then you will love Tru. I also like how the two couples & their stories were different from each other but love was shown in both relationships. This was a really good one. 

This was my first book by this author & there were both things that I did & didn’t like about this book. 

I excused the cringe moments in the first book but I can’t excuse them in this book. I wonder if these books were written towards the beginning of her author journey?! I can’t do it.

The book was good but the constant mention of the FMC being dark skin & constantly calling her black kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Imma keep reading strictly for the mess & drama but dang. 

Wheewwww it’s been a minute since I read a book by Kami that I forget how emotional her books can be. This book was sooo emotional but also so beautiful. The way Kami CRAFTED this story & put everything together. To me it seems like the plot was there & were trying to figure out certain things but the romance & the relationship between Dinero & Charae was more important & I looooved that because eff them other ppl. Kami literally rips your heart into in the first chapter & rips it some more throughout the book but at least she does repair the rip throughout the story as well. 

The waaaayyyy I’m in love with the Dilingers & how each story just gets better & better. I can’t really put this story into words but it was sooo good.
