I knew based off the first book that Harlym was going to get on my nerves baaad. I think she got on my nerves more than her sister did. Harlym loved to do the whole push & pull thing but honestly I just know there’s some girls/women that could probably relate to her story. On the outside she was this big influencer who seemed like she had her stuff together minus being in a toxic relationship but she struggled with soo much more than that & that toxic relationship was more toxic than we knew. That toxic relationship had her scrambled in the head soo bad that she continuously messed up her new relationship. Now Ms. Jahquel I did NOT see that little twist (I went into this book blind).

This was a TRUE enemies to lovers + arranged marriage. The two main characters despised each other & wanted nothing to do with each other, but eventually they let their walls down & was willing to give love a try but man their banter was insane & the fact that neither one of them had a filter made it even better.

Real cute single mom romance where the MMC falls first & hard. I would call this a fluffy cute romance showcasing black love & a single mom who despite having a somewhat decent co-parenting relationship with her baby daddy had to lowkey raise her child on her own. This was a good one.

Oouu baby what a ride. I love when Diamond does a three book series because it always eatsss. It’s always action packed, drama, urban characteristics & love/romance. Her second book is always gone be when stuff hit the fan too. I’m glad Beretta finally showed that she’s one of Wesson’s kids, lol but this one was good.

I really struggled with if I wanted to rate this book a 4 or 3.5 because the second half/part 2 of this book wasn’t my favorite at all. I honestly believe it should’ve been 100-200 pages shorter to prevent it from feeling as though the plot & push/pull effect wasn’t soo drawn out. HOWEVER, Zane’s character in part 1 of this book was sooo good. He was literally down bad for Celeste & promised to give her whatever she wanted & he was just obsessed with her (I think his behavior towards Celeste is why it mad me soo angry that Celeste instantly felt like Zane had betrayed her because girl how I know your man better than you?). I also felt like him having trust issues & being hurt by Celeste in part 2 was very real. The foundation of their relationship was damaged & his thoughts & feelings about what occurred was very realistic. I think Zane is my favorite windsor & Celeste is easily my least favorite Windsor significant other.

ZAHIR BAUS HARRISON 😍😍 The perfect man, the perfect MMC, the perfect book bae/husband, the epitome of that’s a good man. This man got me reevaluating my book boyfriend list because he has to be number 1. He was unhinged af at first but he was dedicated & committed to Keva every step of the way. He made sure to make every single one of dreams come true, he made sure to wipe away everyone of her tears, he made sure to support & love her no matter what. He protected her not only from others but from herself as well. He made sure that she knew she was worthy of love & her having PCOS didn’t equate to her not being deserving of being someone’s wife. This man, Elle did her thing.

The author said in the beginning that Nino was her favorite of the Bellamy brothers & I would definitely have to agree because the way Nino was hard pressed about not finding love & always clowning his brother & dad but as soon as he met Ariana he was ready to turn in his player card was insane. Like this man ran into a burning building to save her & he didn’t even know her name let alone had sniffed her treasure 😂 To see his growth & his journey was really good. He went from being an all time player to being a one woman man effortlessly. I love Nino he’s definitely made it on my top book boyfriends list.

This book is a sloooow burn but one that keeps you interested along the way. When I say slow burn I mean the couple doesn’t get together until a little over 50% of the book & prior to that they have 2 short interactions. & honestly I think having a side character like Nino (the MMCs brother) is what kept me engaged cause that man funny af
