🤯🤯🤯 that’s all I have to say about this book. I felt like I should’ve knew what was going to happen but for some reason I didn’t. 

3.75… This book was good. The plot was really good kinda typical mafia/underworld type of plot. The spice was good (it is a why choose sooo there’s lots of spice but no sword crossing). However, I feel like this book should NOT have been this long. It started out kinda of slow then the plot hit & it felt kinda rushed then the last 20% of the book (which was unnecessary in my opinion) was slow & drawn out. This book is definitely a dark romance & has dark elements so check your trigger warnings.

Romance & I made it 25% through the book & nothing has popped off yet. There’s more mystery & questions then anything & not in a good way. I was in the mood for a true dark filthy romance & this let me down so bad. 

I feel like this was a true contemporary romance. Small town, childhood friends to lovers, brothers best friend, no third act breakup, slow burn. The only thing I didn’t like is that the way the childhood friends/frenemies to lovers trope was done…I’ve known you since we were kids & I’ve always had a crush on you & wanted you but I’m not gone tell you until we’re grown & almost halfway through the book 🙄

The Kinsey brothers was really amazing. The only reason I didn’t give this book 5 stars was because there’s a couple of holes that didn’t get answered or filled in in the end but it’s cool cause I’m bout to head to the spinoff series

Booooy Elle Kayson know she can write some fine behind toxic men & I eat it up every time. 

This book was sooo different from what Kami has written in the past but it still was sooo good. Kami wrote some good church scenes in her Graham series so I knew she was gone eat this up. This book is a faith/christian based book where the MMC is heavily involved in the church but it still has spicy scenes, funny moments, trifling side characters & drama. This one was good. 

I am a sucker for a bad, tough, got her stuff together FMC. However, the fmc’s in this book didn’t really do it for me. I felt like they were trifling, sneaky & childish. But that aside the book was really good. The plot was a little slow but other than that it was alright.
