Oouuu Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy. Mrs. Mamas this here is a MASTERPIECE🤍🤍 since I read long shot about 2 years ago it’s been my favorite Kennedy Ryan book but now I think this could be us has taken over. Judah is very much a good, kind & patient man. He is an amazing father & he was exactly what Soledad needed & deserves. Judah gives golden retriever. Now enough about Judah I’m classifying this book as one of my favs. Simple because of Soledad & her journey & the importance of self love & self healing that was amplified throughout this story. Kennedy created a story about a woman whose story is similar to most women in the sense of being betrayed & lied to by a man; leaving said man; then picking up the pieces of that breakup & going through the healing process & figuring out who we are as a woman- a single woman. Often times in a relationship especially a long term one it’s easy for us to lose our identity or slip out of our original identity & slip into the identity of a woman that’s in a relationship that is or has consumed her & when that relationship blows up we’re sometimes lost. This book shows that. I also loved the emphasis on friendship, sisterhood & womanhood as well. I’m saying that this could be us is Kennedy’s best book! Hands down. 

I’m sooo proud of Sade, but the way Jahquel crafted both Sade & Maliek’s story & giving both of their stories shine was really good. Jahquel focused on Maliek’s comeback while also showing & creating Sade’s growth & her journey. This book was by far my favorite of the brookwood books. Sade is definitely one of my favorite FMC’s written by Jahquel. 

Jru was sick of dealing with her ain’t crap boyfriend & Crew was tired of being more into his relationship than his girlfriend so when fate continuously pushed the two together they decide to just give in. This series is soo good if you need a palate cleanser or if you just want some soft black romance. Jru had to learn to trust again & she slowly but surely did. This book was soo cute I found myself smiling multiple times throughout this book. 

I think this is the first book/series I’ve read by Shvonne Latrice where one of the MMC’s has nooo redeeming qualities & just continues to get worse & worse. Like at one point I was looking for Qamar to either be arrested or unalived because he just continued to move foul. Overall this was a good wrap up to the series (minus the following novella). 

Shvonne is going to give you a jaw drop ending 😂

That ending alone is worthy of 5 stars because Ms. Shvonne tf?? 😲😲😲 But I also wonder if Draylah’s aunt is also behind this mess with Ricky AK. & I pray Qamar gets his stuff together fr

Boooy I know I’m in for a ride. I also think Ricky AK may be the most toxic, unhinged MMC written by Shvonne. 

Jaw meet floor 😲😂 This book was a wild ride. If Frieda doesn’t do anything else she’s gonna have you thinking you know exactly what’s going on just to prove that you indeed know nothing. 

Mission’s character development was top tier but I also loved how Tay reassured him that she loved him for him & didn’t want or need him to change. Myron had a little character development be side she started trusting Navarro more. This book was good overall. 

It was on sight when Tas seen Elle aka Belle. Tas loved having Elle as his best friend when they were younger but they’re grown now & Tas is ready to settle down & the only woman he wants to settle down with is his Belle. Now Elle is fresh out the pen & realizes that she had some snakes around her so she’s trying to get back right & doesn’t have time to entertain any man but she could never say no Tas. This book was sooo cute & soo good.
