One thing Lisa Austin is going to do is give you some fine black men that’s heavily in the streets. I think Donna surprised me the most baby girl is a hidden gem & I hope we get to her unleash her other side more. Young Kae is stupid af & he gets on my nerves the most. I also know things are about to go left further. Smh. 

Whew baby. Boston gave what he was supposed to give. He was slightly unhinged, he was nasty, he was supportive of his woman, he was emotionally intelligent, he was everything. I also loved seeing Nikki’s growth too she went from shy & demure to I’ll beat somebody up especially about her man. I also loved the ending & the little plot twist at the end really makes me want more cause Ms. Lenetta is giving how Stella got her groove back. 

What kind of goodness was this??!! I’m not usually a fan of novellas but this one was done good. It was the right pace, it left out the fluff, it kept the spice, drama & a tad bit of suspense. This book was soo good. I also need a friend like “Hood” cause baby she don’t play at all. 

The way this book started off with plot twists & ended with a plot twist was good af. The only thing that stopped this from being 5 stars was the excessive amount of editing errors (misspelled words, misplaced words, incomplete words, etc.) Other than that the book was filled with humor, ignorance, mafia things, & a little romance. 

These were some ignant behind men 😂 Every single one of them (besides Lorenzo) These men kept me laughing. 

This a slow burn that’s needed. The raw emotions & emotional rollercoaster Miss Candice presented with this story is wild. This is a story, a journey, a delicacy. This is pure right person wrong time & it’s told beautifully, realistically & perfectly. 

This book was totally different from the first book, but it’s also just as angsty as the first one. This story wasn’t what I was expecting so it surprised tf outta me but it was good. Really good. 

The author lowkey mentioned the hockey booktok drama that happened last year & it gave me the super ick. 

Listennnn the spice in this book 🥵🥵🥵 The only reason why I didn’t rate it higher is because I wanted more from the plot. I wish it had more tension, mystery, suspense, etc. the only tension or suspense was towards the beginning of the book when the two characters cross paths after that it’s basically flat. Imma still proceed with the rest of the series simply because of the spice. 

***DEFINITELY read this series in order to TRULY understand this story fully*** 

This book gave exactly what it was supposed to give. The love triangle & all the drama happened exactly like it was supposed to. Like the drama that happened made sense for these people. I loved it.
