I was not expecting this book to be this heavy. I was pleasantly surprised & I think this has earned its spot on my favorites of the year list. Connie showed how ugly grief can get. Sometimes we look at people & judge them based on who they are at the present time when in reality we don’t know how they got to where they are. This book shows that all it takes is one tragedy to turn a persons life upside down. This book does contain romance & every one deserves a persistent & patient man like Hassan. 

Out of the 3 books (Sir deveraux, grand st. Luxe & this one) Sarge was definitely the spiciest. The BDSM is in this one heavy. 

Grand was NOT trying to hear any foolishness Ameera was trying to say 😂 This book was good. It does focus on some heavy topics that happen on page. So make sure you check your trigger warnings. 

Simply put if you love the movies Split or Glass you will love this book. That’s really it. 

Whew starting the month of July of right. Baby this book will have your emotions all over the place. One moment your laughing the next you crying & then you’re gasping because a twist done happened. It was sooo good. 

This was pure mess & filled with plot twists. I would say nova got the ultimate lick back but she still didn’t figure out all the dirt that was done to her but still this book was wild. 

This book was cute & good. I do feel like it ended kind of abruptly but it was still good. It had drama, romance, spice & humor. I hope we get other books about some of the characters mentioned. 

Honestly you could either read this book first or read Krash right into you first it kinda doesn’t matter. Because this book fills in holes or gives more details about  detain situations that isn’t given in Krash into you & vice versa. This book is more so about Kierson’s & Major childhood & has moreso the childhood friends to lovers trope & of course 2nd chance is sprinkled in at the end. Overall the book was okay 🤷🏾‍♀️ Make sure you’re following along because the book does jump from scene to scene & there’s no clear indication that scenes have changed. Especially when we jump from the past to 10 years later in the present. 

Honestly I think this book is my favorite out the three. We really see everybody’s growth in this book, the drama is also a little better or more intense. I feel like this book or the plot of this book is woman focused (you’ll understand once you read it). It was really good. It ended in a way where everything is wrapped up in a bow but if the author wanted to continue writing stories for these characters then she could. 

The way this story ended this could have been the last book. Everything was tied up nice, everybody got their HEA, there was good character growth, it was all good.
