The prologue of this book took me outtttt 😂🥴😳😳 But listen this was a cute, funny short read. It did have a little mess but definitely not as much as Mega & Ruth’s book. If you need something that’s short, cute, funny, and/or a palate cleanser then this is the one for you.

This book was sooo good. It reminded of deep in my soul by Kimberly Brown. My only flaw was that phoenix had more of a backbone & stood up for herself more. She let everybody use her & manipulate her even when she knew what was going on but other than that it was good. 

Tristen disappointed tf outta me in this book but overall this book is set two years after the last book ended & a continuation of the story. This book was entertaining & it had its funny parts & the plot was alright but I ain’t even gone lie I could’ve stopped at the first book 🤷🏾‍♀️ However, I did love the character growth in spade he still had his beliefs but he was tlkn & walking to a different tune in this book. Despite there being a third book this book does not end on a cliffhanger. 

This book is a good representation of how our environment as a child can influence our behavior in adulthood. Spade tried his hardest to make his sons have a “I hate women” or “you don’t love these h03$” mentality all because of something he went through in his past. This book overall was good (not my favorite by this author). 

I really like this book but I will say at time Noemi did irk my nerves and was a little annoying but I guess in a mafia arranged marriage book that is to be expected. I loved how off rip Conner let her know that she was his & had no problem reminding her when she felt, thought, or expressed that the marriage was just on paper. This was a good read.

Shon came through with this spicy why choose Goldilocks & the three bears retelling & it was on point with the actual story. 

Whew chile nite & Dai went through it & I really was praying that they eventually found peace. The type of grief they were dealing with was rare. Also hunter was going through her own family trauma, drama, & issues. The entire friend group deserved each other but the bond between nite, dai & hunter was beautiful & needed for all three of them. I was happy at the character growth that was shown with the boys because I think they had the biggest room for growth. 

Whew baby I wish I could hug Rahlo cause baby boy went through it. This book was soo good. This is my second book by this author & im noticing a pattern with her books: she provides comedic relief throughout the book while touching on heavy and real life topics which as a reader & a person I can appreciate. The humor in the book lightens the load & prevents the book from being too much emotionally. It provides a nice balance. I love it. 

When I say I like/want friends to lovers this is what I mean 😍😍 This was my first book by ladii nesha & she did not disappoint at all. The banter & humor that’s within this book is needed & gives the book a lightness within the darkness because some dark or heavy topics is discussed throughout the book. I loved everything about this book.
