I read the original Luca like a year or two ago & this was my first time doing a reread or reading the updated version & honestly the story still hits. Luca & Evers story seems far fetched to a lot of people but in reality there are ppl who have insta love & are engaged and/or married within months of meeting each other. Some times when you know you just know. Luca immediately seen Ever & he knew he wanted her. It was more insta love for him than for her due to her trauma & history. Luca will always be a good man. He set the tone for the men that follows him in the huffington universe. 

The only thing that needs to be said is that Cappadonna is about to crash tf out!!! He’s bout to eff the city up & show these folks why he is BIG CAPP 🩵

The way I’m eating this series up should be ridiculous, Lmao but it’s sooo good & action packed. You can’t help but to binge read. I will say I’m noticing that I’m crying more in this series than I did in comparison to when I was reading the Capone series. Now onto the finish line. 

This most surprising thing in this part was the growth in Erin. Sis was acting like she was trained by Capri & Big Mike. Baby she had nooo trouble letting her thing go. Now she need to teach Alaia because gahlee. Also, my favorite moment in this book was Capp teaching chubbs that it’s okay for a man to be vulnerable & show his emotions. The way Capp, Jaiden & even CJ surrounded him in that moment had me sobbing. 

Listennnn BIG CAPP NEVERRRR the lil one. There’s a reason Capp is the oldest twin because he literally does not care at all. Also definitely didn’t see the twist coming at all. 

This was the perfect way to wrap up Capone series & transition into cappadonna. Capone was sooo smooth & clever in doing what needed to be done. 

From beginning to end this book is action packed. I cried, I laughed, I got mad, I rolled my eyes, I was disappointed, etc. A lot of things happened in this book & then the twist at the end 😳

This book is focused moreso on creating the storyline & getting the background information on the characters, the beginning of the plot, sneak peaks at further drama, etc. it’s a buildup & similar to world building. It’s still really good & it definitely pulls you in & leaves you wanting more. 

I lowkey struggled with what to rate this book but I had to give it 5 stars simply because of the emotion that this book brought out of me. I was ready to slap the mess out of Astoria because sis wake tf up. Like she was the epitome of do as I say not as I do because she was doing wrong in the sense of she was settling in her marriage. She stayed knowing she should’ve been gave that POS his walking papers. But who knew she would meet better on her girls trip & then get into a little entanglement that turns into forever. I loved Demi & Enzo & their personalities but also that they kept it real with their mama

If Connie writes it imma read it especially when one of the characters have the last name Cambridge. Baby the forbidden trope is this book did what it was supposed to do. Also we love a good stepdaddy trope despite there not being anything step when it comes to Lyfe being princess Ana’s daddy. This book was soooo good. The mess, the triflingness, the found family, the betrayal, the romance, all of it ate.
