An interesting story! I enjoyed the twists and turns, but felt as though this could have easily been two separate books; the two main characters didn’t really come together, so it all felt fairly separate. I was intrigued, however, and did enjoy the way the MCs questions weren’t completely answered. It all felt more realistic, instead of everything being tied up neatly.

I really enjoyed all the stories; they were a combination of sweet and emotional, and I found myself smiling and giggling often. The astrology aspect was fun and makes me want to do more research into it. Recommend!

A fantastic book that both encourages women to feel their rage, while also reflecting on society’s interpretations of women’s anger and how it has affected us all. Highly recommend!

A cute YA DnD romance. It made me smile so much, and I loved how the group of friends meshed and had each other’s backs. Also, I want to be the Grandma when I grow up (minus the car accident ).

A beautiful and hopeful novel about two young women (17) falling in love during a time when being gay was seen as a terrible thing. I was pleasantly surprised by the support Liza received from her parents after being outed. They may not have understood, but they didn’t try to tell her it was wrong either. There was so much that this novel touched on and I truly believe everyone should read this book. It was heartbreaking at times, but ends on a hopeful note and the audiobook has an interview with the author! The book was written in stream of consciousness, letters, and sometimes third person which did throw me sometimes, but didn’t take away from the story at all.

Just a sweet small town sapphic rom-com. I thoroughly enjoyed the mutual secret pining and matchmaking friends. There’s a 3rd act breakup, but it made sense for the story and was quickly resolved. Looking forward to the next one!
Also, despite have only one narrator for a dual pov story, I thought the narrator did a great job with having distinct voices for both characters!

Please read this graphic novel. It was so eye-opening and there are so many parallels between what’s been happening the last 10 years and the Japanese incarceration camps. Heartbreaking and absolutely infuriating. This book needs to be read.

Fascinating story! Definitely was confused at times and I'm honestly not 100% sure how to connect the two parallel stories; I thought I had it figured out but am second guessing myself.
I’m so glad I finally was able to read it, though! The perspective of our unnamed MC was eye-opening. Highly recommend picking this one up if you enjoy speculative fiction and want some insight into how our trans* family, friends, and neighbors may feel about themselves and their life experiences.
