I loved this rivals-to-lovers fantasy romance! Both MCs had valid reasons for their rivalry and there was even a twist I did not see coming! I loved how the fae world was set up and wanted to learn more about it despite being thoroughly charmed by Edwina and Will. They clashed so well together; the flirting and innuendo was fantastic, and I was giggling and blushing through the majority of this story. The spice was 🥵🥵🥵. It was a dual POV with dual narration and both were phenomenal.

A fascinating listen! I wish I had the physical copy to do a tandem read because I think I would have been able to keep track of people and places so much better, but the information that was provided and the comparisons made were so interesting. Recommend, but either as a tandem read or just the physical. The author did a great job as the narrator, though!

Wasn’t capturing my attention nor was I excited to keep going at the this time. May just not be in the mood for now, so there’s a good chance I’ll try it again another time.

An interesting start to a trilogy. I’m curious where it’s going to go and how our MCs are going to survive, honestly. Also, really freaking pissed
about all the characters who were killed off in this book! It’s not fair; I really liked some of them! And the best friend/partner’s betrayal was super uncalled for!
I’m so excited for book 2!

Oh my god! I absolutely loved this! Kimberly Lemming does it again; I will quite literally read anything this woman writes! So funny and clever and just a freaking masterpiece. I am so excited for book 2!
Also, once again, this narrator is perfect! More please!

A fascinating retelling! I enjoyed this sapphic take on Eros and Psyche. It was much different than I expected, but it drew me in almost from the start. Recommend if you want a new take on the myth.
Loved how the narrator was able to differentiate between the characters. 🙂

My favorite fantasy of the year so far. Seriously, 10/10, no notes, must read!

I loved this! The characters were so well developed and the communication (once they started talking) was amazing. I loved how this was a true marriage of convenience-we got to see their love develop, neither of them actually looking for or expecting it. First Alyssa Cole, and I wish I would have paid better attention to the fact that this was a connected series. I will 100% be starting the previous series! Highly recommend!
Narrator was also awesome!

A different take on witches. I enjoyed the rep, enjoyed our MC, and I loved how everyone accepted her as she was. Looking forward to book 2! Also, the narrator was spot on!
Recommend!

Honestly, I enjoyed this so much more than I expected (sports nonfiction is not my norm). The book was funny, relatable, and had a ton of great tips and general information. I’m definitely going to be looking into buying a copy to use as a beginner’s running primer. Highly recommend if you’re looking to start running but find other getting started books to be intimidating or not relatable to you. Also, the author narrates and it’s awesome!
