Wowza! That was a great steamy romance! I really enjoyed the multiple POV. I loved how deeply Carrissa and Josh felt, and how their feelings were important to act on. I'm really excited to get my hands on the next book in the series!
*Not for the prude people of the world. This book was full of capital S. M. U. T.

Solid 3 stars. This book was fine. I just didn't really connect with the characters or the story. Their hardships just didn't seem like that big of a deal, and the romance just seemed shallow and not that exciting.
Wow this was a great little novella! I really like Maddie and Dan. I thought the choice to make their story a novella was perfect. This book was steamy and exciting!
Just like book #1 in the River Bend series, there were several typos and editing errors that were hard to look over. Might pick up this series at a later date.

Tiffany Haddish has always been so funny to me. I enjoyed her story telling and her narration of the audiobook. She's definitely been through a lot and she's come out stronger because of it. I have a huge amount of respect for her and her career!
My first graphic novel! It was absolutely delightful and I can't wait to pick up the rest of this series!
I feel like I just read 6 books all at once. So many POVs and so many characters to keep track of. At the beginning I didn't love it and I was confused by so many people and had trouble keeping them straight. As we got deeper into everyone's stories, I couldn't set this book down. I really enjoyed the twists and the endings for each person surprised me. Bravo!
Ooooh this was a creepy one. Such a unique story with twisted characters. I really enjoyed this one, but the ending fell a little flat for me.
I wish I could give this book more than five stars. I wish I would have read this book sooner. I am in awe.
Angie Thomas created a world that was so incredibly real I felt like I was there too. I could feel the pain and confusion Starr was facing. I could feel the love of her family. I felt like I needed to be there, in the book, for Starr. I felt the outrage that the Garden Heights community felt. Starr Carter feels like a close friend to me after reading this amazing book.
This book needs to be required reading for people everywhere to shed light on a situation that is still happening in our world today. Thank you, Angie Thomas, for capturing it all so well.
This book made me cry (several times), made me laugh, and most importantly, it made me think.

Thank you NetGalley and Workman Publishing Audio for my copy of this audiobook!
I am giving this book 3.5⭐, rounding up to 4. This title interested me, because I've always struggled with friendship dynamics. Not knowing when people are asking too much of me, not knowing how to decline social invites and what is a healthy level of communication.
This book shed light on all of the questions I had in my head going into this. I got my answers and I'm pleased with most of them. As the book says, friendship is a skill. An acquired skill at that. There are millions of people in this world where being a friend or making friends just isn't in their wheelhouse. I definitely relate to those people.
Trin and Jess, hosts of the popular podcast, Friendshipping, definitely did a thorough job with this book. I can tell they put a lot of effort into exploring every single friendship dynamic, gave helpful suggestions and useful scripts to help you navigate sometimes difficult or awkward conversations you have to have with people you consider friends.
I appreciate the opportunity to read this book and I feel like I've had some personal growth because of it. I will definitely be recommending this book to my friends!
